That's what we need in this weather. A nice cold pint of Carling lol. Are you struggling with temperature in your grow room at the minute? I've got my light dimmed down to 75% and even with my 13,000 BTU portable air conditioner running I can't get my temperature below 28c in my grow tent. I would hate to think what my temps would be without an air conditioner lol.

I vent to outside maintaining temps isn't too bad, fwiw I'd be happy with 28/29c I would only get mildly concerned say 31/32c+ then it'd be more for the ec than the heat itself.

I use a dehumidifier to add heat I'd expect your portable aircon is adding a fair bit heat to the room, air conditioners and dehumidifiers create heat as a by product, that heat is normally lost outside with typical aircons but with portable units it adds heat to the room.

Some of the buds on my plants are starting to slightly foxtail on the tips of the buds. is this normal at the end of flower? Is it there last push at producing bud? or is it due to my temps being between 28 - 29c? or maybe it's the genetics? the aroma has slightly changed as well. in week 7 they smelt really dank but now they seem to be lacking as much smell in week 8. Although my room still stinks after I have opened my tent lol

If it's dense it's not foxtailing it's just reflowering/stacked bract type structure if it's airy looking n lacking density then yeah that's foxtailing chances are bud

Here's some photo's I took. I'm guessing it's just reflowering and stacking on the last final week or two?
Bearing in mind these tiny little foxtails only showed up in week 7 - 8 of flower.
Also, once I chop these plants the fish scale strain will be totally lost in the UK. I believe I am the only one growing it in the whole of the UK.
It's going to be a shame to lose her, as I don't have the space or any equipment to take cuttings.
And finding a pack of these seeds now is like trying to find chicken's teeth lol
Plus they cost like $450 a pack lol

Ive got bee guards.
A colony of tree bees have taken up residency in the back corner of my garage. I believe they are a newish bee to our flora and fauna.
I only spotted them as I was painting the garage wall and noticed a lot of bees flying past me.
They are between the bottom tile and the felt. About 8ft up. They are equi distance between my hut grow and my garage grow, about 6t away.
Gotta walk past them to get to the hut. They seem quite docile.
They don't bother me and I don't bother them.
Nice to watch them circulating outside the nest. They don't like the rain which keeps them in and I can go to hut at dusk when they stop flying.
I was telling my brother about them as he used to keep honey bees and he said he had them in a bird box last year.
They were too close to his back door so he moved them ~ 2 - 3ft at dusk every day until they were 30ft away at the back of the garden. He put a sponge soaked in sugar water in the bird box hole to keep them in it every time he moved it.

I think this is a tree bee iirc it doesn't have blk/wht stripes it just white with black, not striped?

Bees are interesting I've thought about getting a hive a few times I still wouldn't it rule the chance out.

Yea, that looks like one.
Bees are fascinating creatures.
My brother went to night classes and built his own hive.
He's a tight sod so wasn't up for buying bees so he made half a dozen swarm boxes to catch his own swarm, which he did! Lol
I even put a swarm box up in the very top of my garage for him
Basically a hole through the wall, plastic tube through the hole which attaches to box on inside.
You can buy bee attractant or lemongrass works, I think I'd lemongrass in mine. There was bee scout activity round mine but they didn't settle.
My brother does not have the bees anymore. He was in the middle of a housing estate and they swarmed lol
Bee swarms are relatively harmless, they are only moving house as their original hive has over population and an extra queen or two has appeared I believe. The are not going on the attack ffs lol.
Anyhoo my Da was over the back talking to an aul lad he knew and the aul lad sez to him 'did you see the swarm of hornets fly past earlier?' and my Da said no they weren't hornets they were our Freddys bees! Lol lol
Our Fred said was pissed off my Da had told the neighbours so he got rid of the bees after that.
He didn't want the red necks flattering down the front doors with pitch forks and flaming torches in hand lol
