Im still debating a final pot size for mine, an excuse to buy some more fabric pots, since I only own 1, 5 and 7's. And my 5's will be in use for another 2 months, just on the fence about 2 or 3 gallons really

My first couple of autos i ran in 5 gallon pots but then i ran out of 5's and had to use 3 gallon's and found no difference between the 5's and the 3's. For the first two on this grow i have little to no space so I'm using 1.75 gallons, the last 3 seeds i plant will be 1 in a 5, 1 in a 3, and 1 in 1.75.

I work with soil as well. It is a common misconception that rockwool is only for hydro. It works great in soil and is super cheap.

For auto's I wouldn't go over 3 gal. I used to use 5's but it is just overkill. The roots never really filled the pot on a 5.

The roots may not but the plant is bigger. I just don't know that its worth it or not. 3 gallons seems to be the sweet spot.

I wasn't saying it's only for hydro I've used it. I just prefer the rapid rooters IME and I get 50 of them for around 12 dollars so it works for me

2 MarsHydro 600's. 24" from the canopy. Just take my update pictures in natural lighting. Running 18/6 light schedule.

The 2 in the back of the first pic are Skywalker. The other 2 are fast and vast from heavyweight seeds. They seem to be doing good under LED's. Second pic is a closer shot of the Skywalker. We are prepping for this damn hurricane down here. Looks like we are going to be in the shit tomorrow and Friday. Send us your prayers and thoughts. Hopefully we can get through this safely

Good luck man! Gas up your vehicles, get plenty of ice, stock up on charcoal, hit the ATM and get cash (because credit/debit card terminals won't work without electricity) and by all means, try to stay out of the water. We'll be thinking of you.

Looking good guys I'm at day 25 above ground things are looking good as ever right now. Unfortunately my kid spilled grape juice on my laptop so I cant upload pics at moment but am working on picking up a new one soon will have more pics to come
I got multiple nodes and some side branching going on the 3 gal pots are doing better than the 1 gal the one gal pot needs to be watered 2x a day it's a real pain in the ass but whatever it's growing I also played with some lst on that one. All three have pistils showing

I noticed in my pic when I enlarged it on a laptop had white spots. I hope its not mites again.
Just to be sure I mixed some spinosad, BT and homemade insecticidal soap and treated my plants.
