I use to know some shady character who would do the same thing except he would mist it lightly with water then pop it in for 15 seconds or so.....said it makes the pot 'come back to life'. lol Out of respect for the old timer, I just kept my mouth shut and nodded my head up and down.

I am down to my last pint jar of almost a year cured vortex(top of the top cola). once the weather cools down I will start up my little cab again.
