I'm here sitting in my car toking a fat bowl of og cali and I'm thinking of how much Fresh water we really don't have comparing it next to Salt water. That being said I'm thinking about self water containers, hydroponics water self systems any thing that will solve alll kinds of eco and social problems of our current poppulation. This sytem's could solve starvation, in some of our third world countrys and bring fresh food instead of old fertilized products Let's change this competitor Thinking.

Can we come up with any ideas?

Thats funny because where I live we have a shit load of fresh water.
Not a lot of people share That reality I understand how cheap we pay for water compare to what others pay. So I can't complain but I am still aware and councious of knowing our water won't last.

I was watching a documentary on this subject about a month ago. I never investigated the statements but if they were telling the truth then only 2-3% of the worlds water is drinkable. Which makes perfect sense to me, I've got tons of lakes, rivers, and streams in my general area and most of it is not safe for human consumption.

Also, the cost associated with using salt water and running it through a Desalination plant is outrageous. As consumers we will end up paying for it though and it will be the big corporations with these facilities that make a killing too.

Wouldnt you just boil it like any other kind of water? I mean sodium doesnt evaporate right, so running the steam through a coil one would end up with purified water from sea water right?

Just be smart and catch rain water! Then boil it homies. That's going to be a lot safer than boiling stream water.

I'm just saying because desalination is expensive on large scale I could do it in my backyard if I had to on the cheap. lol

Desalination is setup just like a still..... how could this be expensive? And have you heard anything about china buying up fresh water and bottling it..... or something like this, I know there is a documentary about it. Crazy when drinking water becomes an epidemic...... pretty soon pure water will be worth more than gold!
