Fighting buddah, chimera seeds
Burmese sativa bc clone only x dj short blueberry(male selected by dj short)
Nice, you’ll dig this line. I have a bunch of Chimera genetics I need to work through. The Blueberry lines are fantastic. Chimera’s genetics imo are some of the most flavorful and unfortunately are rarely seen anymore. His Blueberry lines are better than most of DJ’s current releases as he did a very large pheno hunt with some vintage Blueberry lines of an early filial generation. His Mental Floss, Cali-O x BB, Grapefruit x Blueberry, Schnazzleberry, and Dolcè aka Sweetest Sativa are all fantastic… as is the Fighting Buddha. I made a bunch of F2s with the Dolcè aka Sweetest Sativa (Breeder Steve’s Sweet Skunk x Blueberry). Old Spice of Life (by Breeder Steve), Federation, DJ, and Chimera gear are true classics just waiting for the fruity wave to come back.

look forward to seeing how your sour power x fighting Buddha’s pan out. The FB should certainly add some vigor to the SP. Not to mention give em some great flavor and added effect. Definitely something to consider F2’ing.

Btw, your Neville’s skunk.. is that Neville’s Haze x Skunk #1? Or an old Skunk line of Neville’s? I think I had read something re Mr. Nice so I’m assuming it’s a Haze A or C line from Shanti crossed with an old Skunk. Either way, thanks for sharing. I’ll try to pop in every so often.

All the best,
Swampy

Hey Swampy, nice info on the chimera blueberry lines. Kinda wished i grabbed the dolce as well. Breeder steves sweet skunk , luckily i got some sunshine from hotgg for a sweet skunk experience in the future.

Yeah have had a few people get nice phenos out the sour power fighting buddah. Didnt get many females myself this run which sucks but will run more seeds for sure again. More room for my solos stash seed run i guess.

Nevilles skunk is mr nice, nevilles haze x afghani skunk(nordle i think).

Seen her throw some strong all round hybrid buzz when taken to 14 15ish weeks. Found it quite strong in effect. Just took too long to flower and was more hybrid effect not pure headies. Body buzz was very strong like a magic carpet ride. along with strong headie high. Was quite an experience for what it looked like. Last harvest wasnt so great, too early around 12 weeks. Tastes like the bubblegum from the baseball cards when cured. Had a deja vu moment when i smoked it last.

Right on! That Solo’s Stash will be killer. I’m a huge fan of all the Star Wars/Stash lines… well really all Snow Lotus lines. I saw you also had FB F2s. Hell yea!
I have a few packs of the Dolcè and ran a few inside and one outside. The ones inside were more Sweet Skunk dom, one very trademark SS haze. Funny how it’s named Sweet Skunk but is really a haze. The one outside was a killer pheno. I had it on my porch and placed it outside pretty late in the year after a short veg inside. My porch is a lil shaded but it still did very well. Withstood the humidity and heat that comes with the swampy climate I live in (New Orleans). She had pencil thin leaves but very blueberry/thai looking calyxes. Male was probably fairly BB dom as well, but had just the right Sweet Skunk traits. Did a germ test before I left on a road trip this summer and gave a couple small plants to a friend that had never grown before. She got a killer female and did quite well for her first small tent grow. Have a ton of the F2s if you’re ever interested.

also wanted to ask, was the Headbanger a fairly recent vintage? Reason I ask was bc I got a pack myself but I believe they were created in the last 3years or so. Not sure if Karma uses the same mothers/fathers over the years as that can be tough when certain lines kinda dud out after years of using the same mother. Yours looks great nonetheless.

Sweet skunk is a haze? Good to know. Dont think i ever had a bag of it. Really enjoying the sativas lately. So picked up the bc silver haze has been quite a treat.
Could send you a few things you like of my latest work if your interested, along with some fighting buddah f2s? Would love to have some dolce f2s myself. Think there is def chance for euphoria there. Def some slept on genetics like you were saying. The seedbay crew was pretty keen on the dolce. If you could smell the solos stash 1 x biker pheno i used for seeds you would be impressed. Was a really nice pheno. Not the loudest but terps on point.

Oh and the headbanger is from about 4 years ago. Give or take a year. Cant really remember. Asked karma about that same question you have. He says its the same parents. Although it was the original biker kush male v1 in the headbanger. Does he still have the v1 male? Would answer that question i think. If its not the same im still quite happy with what i got from my pack. Enough sour d vibes and ogk to keep me happy.

Here’s some info on Fighting Buddha’s parentals for ya.
-Swampy

Burmese Sativa - "The burmese is a really special sativa lady that was selected from true land of origin stock a friend of mine picked up in his travels to the region years back. I'm puffing a bongload right now, and it's great pot imho! She's very fast for a sat, and finishes in approximately 55 days in most gardens." -Chimera

DJ Short Blueberry - This Blueberry is derived from original Blueberry, an unreleased line that also fathered DJ Short True Blueberry. Chimera was given access to the room in which DJ Short's male selections were made. He chose several individuals personally, as well as the now deceased B130 male that DJ selected himself, and these selections are the pollen donors for the Joint Projects.
"There is variation in every pack. You WILL find the one that you are looking for in each pack as everyone has differing tastes, the one will be different for everyone. I love the mutant factor! Some of the best resin has come off of the mutants in these current releases. As far as using these strains in breeding projects-GO FOR IT. Every cross that I have seen turns out spectacular. In these new hybrids the blueberry gene is very dominant. A classic example is Chimera's Fighting Buddha. This Burmese cross has heavy Blue line traits(foxtailing, purple stem...)." - Red from Legends Seeds
The pollen inputs from DJ were selected by me from a set of plants DJ chose from the selection run that pre-dated the TBB, F13, GK, etc releases. These inputs came as cuttings, not pollen.
The male known as B130 was but one of the plants who contributed pollen for the Chimera/DJ Short joint projects.
I did make an S1 generation from B130. None of the plant from this generation have been used for any seed release.
I hope that clarifies,
-Chimera
There were more B130 plants in the room than any other pollen donor. If I had to estimate I'd say that %70 of the seeds fom this batch were from B130 pollen. Other pollen donors included the B133 mother of Old Time Moonshine, B25 (the mother of grape krush) and B144(?) (the mother of TBB). I'd have to dig up my notes to see which other plants contributed pollen.

Sweet Skunk
- A Vancouver clone selected as superior by Breeder Steve from a large population. "A very small batch of these were made last winter and have barely seen the light of gardens except a small group of SS lovers. The Sweet skunk clone is in my opininion the finest and most unique sativa of the last decade, and the unbeatable #1 favorite in our group of cannabis cowboys." -Cannabis Cowboy
"Sweetest Skunk...produces excellent herb very much like the SS clone." -Chimera
Sweet Skunk was originally introduced by Spice of Life Seeds in 1994. The heritage was listed as Sensi Seed’s Big Skunk x Sweet Pink Grapefruit (a.k.a. Grapefruit) at the time, but Breeder Steve later speculated that the father was likely a NL x Haze male rather than a Big Skunk. This makes sense; the Southeast Asian “Hazey” bud structure is hard to ignore. Apparently, Steve had obtained two trays of clones for a grow, one labeled “Big Skunk” and the other “NL x Haze.” Upon planting and flowering the clones, one of the trays turned out to have a male that pollinated the crop, producing the seeds sold as Sweet Skunk. (Sometimes unplanned hybridization can yield outstanding individuals.) F1 seeds were planted, and an extreme sativa-leaning selection (SS #10) was chosen out of a roomful of indica-dominant girls. This clone is now known in BC as the original Sweet Skunk clone.
-Chimera

edit: and of course I would be down to trade. Have a bunch of the Dolcè sativa F2s and a lil bit of Hoa Bac (Vietnamese Silver) x Dolcè Sativa as well.

Cool info bro, has been awhile since ive read this. Found the fighting buddah part interesting never noticed that part . "A classic example is Chimera's Fighting Buddha. This Burmese cross has heavy Blue line traits(foxtailing, purple stem...)." - Red from Legends Seeds"

Read somewhere how cookies, cant remember who or even where, claimed a burmese male to be used in the cookies. Feel like its not true but suppose is the place to hear the truth. Was just doing some research on the burmese when i ran across that.

Vietnamese silver? Sounds amazing, honestly not looking to pop much new stuff anytime soon. We both prob got enough genetics to keep us happy. Doesnt have to be now but not opposed to doing it now. Appreciate your comments and good info!!

Fighting buddah f2 tester only got 1 as well. Weird but the pheno looks nice. I get a blue vibe from the looks of this.20221227_060114.jpg20221227_060149.jpg20221227_060156.jpg Did not get a female out the neville skunk x crumbled lime, all males and 1 herm. Had a bit of light leakage during the begining of flower. Guessing it stressed them. Should mean these females are pretty herm resistent. Might clone the headbanger x limef2.

Headbanger x crumbled lime f2 bottoms, resin smelling very nice too. Hashplant level resin. Hashmakers will enjoy this too bad is not for sale. Whole crumbled lime f2 line will yield hashplants anyway. Lip lime, cookie dough sundae lime, neville skunk lime prob gonna be more of a hunt.

Wanna pop some solos stash hybrids but not sure what to pop now. Thinking doing a headbanger lime long island pink and will be the end of keeping clones. What i get i work with after that from seed. Or maybe solo hybrids for more kushy offspring from the lip. Think kush is the way to go not frost. Flav over frost. Frost is nice but flav is a must. Just thought of the lipxclf2 x lip would be bx and kinda hit or miss i guess. Might be the best of both worlds frost and kush.

That headbanger x clf2 is very fast for 4 weeks. As a canadian fast is a very good thing for outdoor. This pheno is very mold resistant too. Has that glossy extra dark green look to her even early on. Been thinking about doing some big plants outdoors for concentrate only. Pretty much all its good for with the market the way it is. Wonder how the cannabis scene will look in 5 years.
