That was how I enticed the neighbors to help put my dock in in the spring and take it out again in the fall. We would install/remove one 8' section then stop to have a beer. With 6 sections in this dock, you can guess we were pretty tanked by the time we were finished.

About 6 hours elapsed time. 30% = the physical dock installation/removal. 70% = the drinking.... How long did that take...

Dude. My Wife's going to hate me when she finds one of these hanging where the tree is supposed to be put up this year.

Not fall in - but I needed to hammer the feet into the lake bed then secure the dock fittings to said feet. Only way was to do that was in the lake.
And as we all know, lakes in the North Temperate Zone are not exactly warm in mid May and late September. So since it was my dock. yours truly was the one that got into the water. I always ended that chilly endeavor with a nice double Scotch.

She can't. We live in a house. But we do have a shed in the back yard that I may have to set up tonight.
