Thinking about a caregivers card!

I took the plunge a few days ago. I qualified for the green card. Didn't think I could but....
Algea Releaf - here I come. As soon as I find an apartment and move out of my car.
No wonder I have nerve pain in my neck and back. Oy!!
Did you apply for grow rights? It's always been a standing joke that the apartment-challenged could have grow rights, I just wondered. lol

Might also want to read your Apartment's lease agreement. Mine explicitly states a "no grow" policy regardless of patient rights. I guess if the 25 mile rule gets lifted you could rebel and grow anyway, but have to factor in some things to keep it stealthy.

My card says "Not Authorized to Cultivate". My patients card says the same.
25 mile rule sucks! eh?
Its a shame since the dispensaries are outrageously expensive.
People should be able to grow their own and save on the costs.

PS Got a new place a couple weeks ago. Has a 'no criminal activity' and 'drug free' page in the lease.
No criminal activity going on here. But I have banished myself into the bathroom with a stick of incense.
Do you think the neighbors will figure it out? LOL

Damn stupid law!
If there was a law made that required Arizonans to register their vegetable garden and if that garden was within 25 miles of a grocery store then you were denied the ability to provide food for your self for a fraction of the cost. Is that not another form of robbery? Is this law just? The more folks stand against this unjust and partial law the sooner it will go away..

Were you growing before?

You betcha buddy!
Whats a girl to do?
There are sooo many things wrong with this law.
If I had an herb garden to make tea, or a poultice, and used them to treat colds, tummy aches, fever, infections, no one would blink a friggin' eye.
But one little pot plant....and the ignoramuses that ruin, oops I mean run, the state of AZ go nuts.

PS Not sure if anyone is aware of this new discovery. Marijuana treats EVERYTHING!. Sshhh - don't tell the government. If they find out it is good for people, they'll ban it.

I doubt you will find anyone on this board or any board like it, let alone anyone with even a shred of common sense to debate the merits of the 25 mile lie. As for your apartment there are lots of little sections of the act itself which your now part of with your card that prevent discrimination based on your use of a medicine in the privacy of your own home; If you want to argue the legality of marijuana as a state Vs. federal we can be here all day but considering our system runs on precedence, and the white house said they will not be pursuing states with medical programs and you are now part of one of those programs you should be safe to smoke in your own apartment without any legal worries at all, please don't hide in the bathroom.

You are right about that!
I'm still clinging to the old school way of hiding my usage from the outside world.
Just habit, I guess. Hard to break away from the fear of discovery.

When I got my MMJ card as a patient, there was no option for a caregiver or cultivator card.
How are these obtained? Anyone out there have either of these?

As a patient there is a box to check on your azdhs application for request to cultivate. It's not a separate card. You will only be given authorization if you live more than 25 miles from a dispensary.

Caregiver card is a separate application. Only way you can cultivate with that one is if the patient lives more than 25 miles from a dispensary. Doesn't matter where the caregiver grows, just where the patient lives.

Well, that is why I missed it. The Dr office took care of the application for me (for an extra fee).
I probably looked right at it and didn't even see it.
No chance either of us are outside the 25 mile limit.

Thanks for the link ap.
I've read it. I get it now. Doh!

any caregivers here in the Yuma area fuck jamestown they suck
Fucking shit, is it ran by the same fat white guy that runs the Jamestown Center in Eloy? He has no idea how to grow and it's a real shame that he does it all on his own. He was grinning from ear to ear telling me about $13 grams as he shows me jars of absolute dog shit, but hey welcome to Arizona. Use this site and grow your own dank man I put all the dispensaries to shame with minimal effort.

As long as YOU (the patient) live 25 miles away, a caregiver can grow anywhere he likes, but not his own 12 only the 12 per patient. If the caregiver lives 25 miles out the only benefit is he gets to grow his own 12 plants on top of whatever patients he is growing for.
