A few things I want to run by the mentors:

1. I had slow plant growth ( 25 days and about 4 inches) under my current system. It seems as though my water may have been quite hard (220ppm). I recently switched to distilled water (14ppm) and my plant has shot to about 9 inches in the last 6 days. I also notice that i am no longer having the burn/damage to the new leaves. To me it seems that the salt and items in the water may have been prohibiting growth or am i a nutter?

2. I am terrified of nute damage. i just flushed her to get rid of salt deposits and build up. Should i introduce nutes at 1/4 strength yet? ( using happy frog soil right now)

3. I want to super crop so I was planning on doing that very soon ( next day or two) the one where you crush the stem with your fingers and fool the plant into thing it's got no top. Is this a good idea for a first grow or let it slide on my first time?

4. She (hopefully) has been growing for 32 days now, My plan is to put her into flower once she hits 12 inches tall... good or bad idea ( i have a max of 3.5' of grow room height)

5. She's sitting in a 2 gallon plant container, should i move her to a 5 gallon? this will be the second transplant (beer cup -> 2 gallon -> 5 gallon)

6. also in order to control temps and behavior better I was thinking of setting dark to mid day when power is most expensive and temps are at the highest, currently on 18/6 where the 6 is at night.. whats the best way to switch to the 6 being mid day? cabinet is sealed light tight!

Set up:
Indoor Cabinet 4'X3'X2'
4X23w 6500cfl
1X29w 6500cfl
1x23w 2700cfl
Fressh air intake
8" circular fan
4.5" 112cfm exhaust fan
Temps range from 74-86

Thanks again You guys have been life savers !!!

ok, yes ur doing a good job, keep wit the clean water very important, and yes 1/4 strength nutes the 1st time, and 1/2 strength 2nd time et.. and nutes every second feeding,

i dont know that soil, so maybe call the company and ask them if its a a strong or light mixture so if u transplant u wont need to nute for a lil while, o

on ur 1 st grow maybe u should juts keep it simple dont try any difficult Techniques like super cropping yet,

if u want to transplant do so now as u want the roots grown before u hot flowering..
