Thats really strange.. Every seed I have ever popped always gave me a unique plant with different fragrances.. But odorless?

I was talking with a buddy who was hoping to offer sub gear and other beans from a few mainstream breeders at one of these markets..
I did not see many beans during my last attendance but im always interested so I will be keeping an eye out.
Most of the seed packs out there nowadays has serious genetic variance, its not only subs.
The pheno hunting is part of the mission, yeah it can be demoralizing but when a keeper does emerge the pros outweigh the cons IMO.
Like in any business you have to work hard to achieve the best..
I still refuse AZ clones, I tried a couple just for shits from someone who was vouched for only to get sub-par flowers.
They were probably "top-shelf" Arizona buds to some but that typically means low-medium grade for the rest of us.

I know I thought I was the only one who got this pheno but then my grow buddy just harvested his jilly bean and same thing. produced nice big fat buds but no odor not even on cured buds.. But I cant talk shit about TGA because I do love some of their other stuff like Jack the Ripper and Plush Berry.. I'm actually going to be flowering Qush and Jack The Ripper here in about a week.

AZ clones are getting better, I hear you on that. However there are a lot of good TGA clones out here. TGA and AZCS flooded AZ with TGA genetics when the law first passed here so lots of folks have some good strains. I have seen them.

I know the TGA rep and you are 100% the flood gates opened up very early on here in AZ.
A sub clone would probably be on of the ones I may trust, probably not lol....
I trade clones with a couple extremely long time grower buddies, hopefully I can expand that in the future.
Does not change my stance that seeds are the most rewarding... Sometimes finding that mutant in a seed pack will even surprise the breeder, same as the Chernobyl example given previously.
I turn to clones for cut only strains, a select few out here have genetics like that and they hate people who bash on exclusivity, obviously.
I think the reason so many garbage clones saturate this market because many of the 2 yr masters dont grow from seed, they look only for clones.
It only takes one wrong person getting a special clone to ruin an exclusive strain..
Look at the Bubba slut cut that is everywhere, all over CL. Its dank but will not set anyone apart if everyone has it...
I have also found lately if you have some high quality gear hold on to it. Many Dispensary owners are assed out on quality genetics and they are sending their unsuspecting minions out to play nice only for cut purposes. Competition is a bitch and the underground scene/ small caregiver scene will be able to dictate their own costs if they posses the quality. The dispensaries with the best meds will succeed also, esp, in a metro area where quality is a five minute drive to the next dispensary.

Well you are right about the clone scene out here sucking, because it does. Cloning in my opinion is all about selection and cleanliness in my opinion. I have been to card holders grow rooms that are "clone only" guys... Dirty ass grow rooms, pets near by, bugs on the floor, etc .. Just horrible. Thats my take. Alot of people will clone shit and then treat their cloning rooms like shit.

My favorite is when people want to trade a clone they dont have personally of have unproved shit they want to trade for something that dominates the genetic market.
