Male thirps have wings. Anything else crawling around the leaves on the under side near the base of the finger's?

You have wet soil?
These flyers landing on the soil?
See them around drains in other parts of the house?
See any ants around the inside of the house?

Hang fly tape and catch them.

No just these things. Crawling on top and underside of leaves. Soil due for water today. It’s been moist with some rain. Not landing on soil, no. Plants are outside in garden. So no don’t see anything in the house.

So funny story, my wife basically takes care of the rest of the garden. I take care of what’s important….the cannabis. Lol.
Today I go out looking for these dam aphids, inspect my plants up and down. Sure little black winged ones around. But not as much as yesterday. So I start checking the rest of the garden. Well wouldn’t ya know it! God damn Kohlrabi is infested. Eggs everywhere, and aphids of differing maturity all over the place.
So I sprayed the living shit out of it what my insecticidal soap, got all the surrounding butternut squash, zucchini etc.
So quite confident having not noticed any eggs on my plants, the mature aphids were just flying over to my plants. Think I’ve hopefully got em at the source. The black ones on my plants aren’t the egg layers, so I figure they will move on…..what’s left of em that is.
New way to kill a bunch. Lightly shake the plant. Sends em flying, than my electric tennis racket just zapped em in the air. See what happens lol.

Gnats. I just buy a heap of those sticky cards and put then around the plant. it won’t completely get rid of them but it will keep there’s numbers at bay
