Time Lapse question

Could anyone please supply me with how many frames should be captured/a second to create a good time lapse video.

It's at 25 FPS (Frames Per second) and i'm basically wondering how many seconds should pass before my time lapse program captures another screenshot?
Thank you.

Cinema quality movies is at 24 fps , I would think a frame every 5 to 10 minutes would run smooth if your doin a video of a week or longer. Could possibly even stretch it out to ever30 minutes or hour. But if you want a long vid of a day in life , snap a shot every minute or 2.... you use software to combine photos to a time lapse video. Or you might have an expensive programable camera that has a time lapse feature..
