I was in the Air Force so yes there are some that just blindly do what they are told, but I feel that a lot of the military would not fire on citizens or disobey the constitution in anyway. However I realize that the Air Force isn't as hardcore/brainwashed as the other branches and you are right there is a lot of dumb fucks in the military, but a lot of intelligent people as well.

I agree with you in part, but i will have to protest and say there are much more sheep than shepherds. I met and worked with tons of intelligent people but they were a rare breed and still do what they were told. I would never give my branch anymore respect than any other so i tip my hat to you for that. One thing you may have forgotten is that the Air Force have much more intelligent people due to how selective they are (not saying all of them.) If you talk to the troops on the front lines many of them have doubts about the cause. That does not mean that they don't lay their lives on the line and bust their asses out there it just means they are doing immoral things due to orders. I would like to state that i don't think our country is in any danger of this happening it was just a hypothetical situation.
