Nice and frosty with the bottoms as sugar coated as the tops on those small fans. Double your pleasure, double your fun. :)

I wouldn't waste time with those orange shots. Much nicer in more natural light.

Not cheap to run for sure. Power here is over 25¢/kwh so running my 1000W 12 hours/day for flowering is over $90/mth but I only use that when I have a shitload of plants and the payoff is going to make it worth my while. I have a Light Rail 4.0 so I can use that with a 600W, (have 3 digital 600s), and get as good coverage as a 1000W. The rail only uses 9W so saves lots on power and you can run the light closer to the canopy.

My basement grow room is always very cool so if I blew a bunch of money on good LEDs to save a little power my heater would have to be coming on more often to keep my temps up around 75F and any power savings with the LEDs would be going to that. My 6" exhaust fan is on a temp/rh controller and even a 600 doesn't heat up the room enough when it's -25C outside to turn it on. No CO2 for the plants so I burn a little alcohol lamp for extra CO2. Uses about 100ml of methyl hydrate/day but that's cheap CO2 and one 4L jug is only $10 and good for a whole grow. With the 400 going now and only a few smaller plants I light it for an hour twice a day and that's plenty. During the stretch with lots of plants it goes all day while the lights are on.

Not using the Rail here. Just a 600W Hortilux SHPS light for a couple plants. Got a gallon of paint to get rid of the stripes left after removing the shelving that was in there when I bought the place 18 years ago. Next time I have no plants going in there I'll paint it all over.

I've usually been very picky about getting every bit of trim out of buds before drying and took me forever to get my trimming done so now it almost all goes to oil so a quick snip to take off anything that doesn't have sugar on it and the rest gets fresh froze for later use. Can trim a big plant in half an hour now instead of a day. Only a few of the biggest colas get trimmed for a slo-dry and cure so there's something to share with my toker friends and I don't trim those as much now either.

All the stuff that didn't have sugar gets dried and I run it thru my sift screens before tossing the rest and pull a few grams off it. Toss that in the oil bucket too. With my arthritis it makes life a whole lot easier.

I didn't want to edit my op.. I would like to say , I ran my ballast at 600w not 1000. Also I dumped the dtw and just water as normal.

Thanks buddy :joint:. The best performers came from $35 / 10 pk regs. South Shore Seed Collective puts out some heat.
I've got a BUNCH of regs and fems from Useful Seeds that I'm about to get into... I want to check out this Long Valley Royal Kush F2 among others, but I think that may be the real prize!!! They cost 300 dollars!!! Not me,but I looked them up and that was the price!!!
