To anyone with a tent and a 4" inline exhaust fan...

How exactly did u put it up.

My best guess is to attach it to the actual tent itself somehow, rather than hanging it from something but I need some help on actually putting the exhast fan in the 4" duct so it will blow straight into my carbon filter without damaging my tent or creating a dangerous setup.

thats actually the best thing you could have shown me man, is there any reason you put the carbon filter inside the tent rather than outside????

I have the fan sucking air through the filter going through the cool tube and out the tent. Helps with controlling heat as well as odor.

Exactly! You'd be amazed at how well the 4" filter works too! Also for being a 2x4x7' tent and having a 600w HPS my temps are not bad at all... I think. They tend to fluctuate between 83-86*.

I have a homemade 36x20x60 tent... with a 600 watt HPS...

I have a similar set-up to yours, other than I have a fan dedicated to the cool tube... air from outside of the tent is blown across the light and out the tent on the other side...

Then I have an exhaust fan and an intake, which is speed controlled to 2/3 capacity of the exhaust... maintaining a slight vacuum, assuring that no smell leaks out....

My filter goes on the end of my exhaust duct, as I do not have a lot of space inside the tent... but either way should work fine.. it is a matter of the space you have and or personal preference...

With the light 10" away from the top of the plants, the temps are at 75F...
