To Late to Clone?

I'd like to try my maturing female with a 4" topper. Though I'd like to know when it,s to late to take a clone and couls I put her back into vegetative growth?
I'd sure like to keep this one looks like it could be a great mother plant.

You can clone a plant in flower.

I have never done it, but several have. I believe that it may take longer than usual for the clone to root, or maybe it roots in similar time then needs extra time to revert to a veg state.

ive cloned plants in flowering it tougher to do because the humidity but if there not to far along shouldnt be a problem. you should take more than on though just in case. it does take longer on all fronts aswell
