Hey cowboylogic, i had the exact same thing with my l.a woman and i topped here i'l grab a pic for ya
How many transplants do you normally do? I only do one. Clones go into a 4 inch pot and when approaching rootbound, regardless of whats going on topside, then I transplant to their final pot for the rest of their lives. I think pot size should be coordinated with your veg time/length preference. I like to get 4 weeks in the 2 gallon pots before flowering. For me the race is to fill up the 4 inch pots with roots so they can get their 'real veg time' going in their final pots.
Do you think that limited root mass or rootboundness (is that a word?) helps to control the stretch at all when they hit flowering?
sorry dude thought i had a pic from when she was small but read through ur thread properly .. amazing work dude
So many things involved. This particular plant/grow went near perfect. The only setback was the supercropping.
Insects, minor def, temp problems ect... are all little setbacks that can lenghten the time it takes a plant to finish. And a plant that is sexually mature and healthy given the right micros (Open Sesame) at the right time will begin to flower within days of the switch to 12/12. Alot of things have to go right in order to have the most efficent grow. Its a rare thing. I just got lucky this time. And have learned how to get the most out of this strain. You never know. Some unknown issue may arise and throw a wrench into the works. Its not finished yet.
good on ya mate, you certainly know ur stuff! Thanks man. I guess there is accomplishment in failure. I am just kinda throwing some things out there and having some fun.

can i ask quickly what you think of my l.a woman as its the first time i topped and in the 1st page of ur thread the 1st pic you showed of the mutated plant this looked exactly the same, so here she is now about 4 weeks from the chop how does it looked to have responded?
Sorry to do this in ur thread dude but no one seems to be taking to mine lol![]()
Thanks man + rep thats good to know.No worries pal. Please feel free to ask any questions you have. This is an open journal.
And your plant looks great. I would say you got it right, topping for 4. Nice work. But in all actuallity its hard to top 'wrong' so to speak. You just dont always get the exact results your looking for. But the plant keeps on ticking.
I am yet to have that perfect grow from start to finish. Haven't even come close but I'm working on it every set.
That's what it's all about though. Optimizing genetics with a flawless grow that is dialed in. Everyone chases but few achieve and fewer still do it consistently.
Thanks man + rep thats good to know.
I'l deffo keep an eye on this one aswell mate that querkle looks extreme!!![]()
Nice 1 geeza appreciate it, amnesia lemon eh never heard of that 1 but will check it out sounds good tho. i grew the sharksbreath last time round that stuff is wicked urs a DNA aswell or?...Put a link to your journal/thread in your signature. More folks will check it out. I am going to check some of your posts out, see what your up too....
And sorry. I was stoned and lazy when marking/moving clones. The Querkle is a Amnesia Lemon. The good luck for me is, just as tasty! Its a win-win.
They look great Cowboy. I am thinking about starting some sharksbreath, how was the veg? Did they short and fat or tall and thin?
Almost forgot. Daryl and Daryl wanted to say Hi to Larry. They are enjoying the white beaches. Thanks to the move in of gnats.View attachment 1072389
No I topped this one early about the time it was showing the 6th node. Topped for 2 and just ended up being a trip. Then trimmed from there. Its in the first pages of the journal. Give larry my best. LMAO Stick around. Got some fun stuff planned for the fall. Plus your 2 cents is always welcome.
