Again about the same. Seed directly in peat pellet. Pellet to 24oz cups. Cups to final home, 2-3 gal pots. The exception being the big bastards I am growing now. They went from 3 gals to either 5 gal buckets or 20 gal totes.
And I think pot/rootbound can control stretch. A plant knows the room and what it has to work with. But there is also a fine line between control and strangulation (lack of a better word).

Makes perfect sense! I had a plant that took everything I through at it well, compared to the other 2 I had. She was a bagseed, that flowered for over 12 weeks. I thought light leak cause everyone else said so. One person looked at my pics and they thought sativa. Well I chopped cause I was worried I screwed her up. But after recording live feed from within the cab, I could not detect any light getting in. So I think the fellow was right about the sativa dominant strain, and she flowered so long because of high heat and not the best environment for optimal growing. Weird plant.

can i ask quickly what you think of my l.a woman as its the first time i topped and in the 1st page of ur thread the 1st pic you showed of the mutated plant this looked exactly the same, so here she is now about 4 weeks from the chop how does it looked to have responded?

I am yet to have that perfect grow from start to finish. Haven't even come close but I'm working on it every set.
That's what it's all about though. Optimizing genetics with a flawless grow that is dialed in. Everyone chases but few achieve and fewer still do it consistently.

And your plant looks great. I would say you got it right, topping for 4. Nice work. But in all actuallity its hard to top 'wrong' so to speak. You just dont always get the exact results your looking for. But the plant keeps on ticking.

I just got lucky on this one. Anyways some updated pics. First is the OB supercrop. Second is the Sharksbreath w/ 3 tops. They were all treated a bit different but its hard to tell now. So damn bushing and too big to move around much. The third is the Querkle 2 top that I see now is actually an Amnesia Lemon. Got some clones mixed up in the spring and I guess this one slipped by. Shows how close I was paying attention! lol. The Fourth is the White Russian topped for 4 vegged then supercropped and vegged some more. Its going to be a monster yielder. And the last few just pics are of the SB/AL/WR packed into the 6x4 flower room. 600 HPS Hortilux and 400 CMH. They are loving the mix!

The pics are all mixed up again. Guess everything is normal! lol See to be a trend in this thread. Anyways I think you get the picture. Or bad pictures as it may be. They are just too big to move around much. Actually wont be able to move them again until harvest. Too risky.

I want to add the Sharksbreath branch that was stairstepped per Rats method is showing shorter spacing between nodes. Crappy light placement or not. I would say using this method trimmed 4 or 5 inches off its height.

Thanks for stopping by. Figured you woulld enjoy the big plants. Anyways the SB is very Indica. I think you could grow them as tight as ya want. Veg was most of the summer. Germed sometime in late April or early May. Most of the stretch was in the top of the plant. All 3 branches have grown into very typical xmas trees regardless of how they were pruned. Its my first time around with it but promising so far. looks to be a big yielder.

No I topped this one early about the time it was showing the 6th node. Topped for 2 and just ended up being a trip. Then trimmed from there. Its in the first pages of the journal. Give larry my best. LMAO Stick around. Got some fun stuff planned for the fall. Plus your 2 cents is always welcome.
