Too Big!!!!

My plants are growing too tall for my tent, is there anyway of stopping them grow any taller? I've got them on 12/12 & they'rew budding.

can you get the light closer without it being too hot? might make them stretch a little less.

LMAO thats a horrible idea, thats like giving your kids less food and water so they stay small and weak.

chop the roots.. I know everyone cringes anytime I mention it but its completely fine.. I do it all the time to my crops.. only chop the ENDs of the roots anytime your trimming roots... if you want to slow growth chop about 5% of the root system.. to halt growth, chop about 10-15%.. anything greater will put the plant at risk and if you chop more than half of the root system and you dont simultaneously prune most of the bottom and mid branches off the plant will die... sorry but bending wont do shit (the buds still need to be standing upright to get proper light levels).. do NOT top or prune the plant during flowering, its a total waste of a flowering weed plant (yield will decrease significantly)... if u can wait until you are past the second week of flowering you should not have to do anything (no more vertical growth should occur once past this stage) ... good luck!

With in a day or two of bending the plant will turn up facing the light so yes it will do shit, and since when does light have to hit the top of the buds to work, if that were the case side lighting would be useless.

that's happening to me too. i used nuts and bolts and tied them to the branches. i also stuck shit underneath the pot tilting it on it's side

I used bigger pots on my last crop & they didn't outgrow the tent, I should of started flowering earlier.

The nuts & bolts idea did that work??

yep, exactly; which is why I said bending it wont do shit.. it'll just straighten out again :)
nothing to do with light hitting the bud .. hehe.. the leaves are the solar panels dude not the bud.. if the branch supporting the bud is laying to the side the leaves near the bud wont get much light so the energy to the bud will be decreased..

Ya but the main stalk cant bend back up if it is held down just the part of it above the anchor point will point up, and then the individual buds will turn up it will not go back to the original size. Trust me I have done this plenty of times it will make your plants shorter and allow the lower branches to get the same amount of light as the top increasing yield.
