too late to start?

Okay thanks, I just kinda grabbed a soil that looked best with the time release nute and threw a shit ton n of perlite in it. Why would a seedlings lower leaves yellow in this case then? Could heat play a role?

I highly doubt it needs nitrogen so early in its growth....

a few girls i havnt fed at all this year and are completely healthy.

The medium your using looks like it has sticks in it, not ideal mj conditions.
Usually growers stick to a mainly Peatmoss base.

most potting soils have sticks in them as fillers, not really going to hurt anything imo. as far as feeding...I don't care to advise on that..i have not fed mine at all but I did amend with some worm castings ..mine look a little light colored as well but have decided not to feed until I see sex.

im not sure why growth is so stunted...what size container is it in?

excess water will, you said its been really wet there..let it dry out. even if you have to cover it up when it rains.

well we have 1 female so far out of the three. the biggest one finally showed sex today....only a few more days and I should have the other 2 sexed. im not counting the chickens before they hatch but I have never actually had to cull a male before. (at least not that I can remember)

confirmed 2 female and possibly the third is female as well (from the bagseed I started 3 weeks ago in soil) I will be able to tell better in a day or so but im 100% sure on the tall one, 99% sure on the medium one and about 60% sure on the little one. a day of growth will tell me.
Ill try and snap some decent pics @ lights out today.

I got home today and noticed a cool leaf growing on the seedling.. it's perfectly healthy but it's got two main tips. Ever seen this before?

cool, never seen anything like that but im sure its no big deal, wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of them grow like that if its a genetic mutation.

also confirmed today that all 3 of mine are female. 100% sure now, let hope for now hermies lol

sapent about 20 min picking nuts off my bigger plant...bleh I knew it was going to hermie a little and it did.. Oh well just have to keep checking and picking now. On the positive side most of the pollen pods were on the lower branches so if I do miss one (and I know I will) hopefully I don't get many seeds oin the top.

on another note my 3 12/12 from seed are doing well, starting to throw them pistols out good now and I think im going to have some nice plants out of the deal, who knows maybe my hermie will pollinate one of them and ill end up with a nice mix up.

Wow haha my babies aren't even close to flower yet.. that's too bad about the hermie, though given the amount of stress she went through, I'm not exactly surprised lol. I would post updates but I don't have much to talk about right now haha

Alright, after a slight mishap with my pro tek silicon supplement (something with shipping) it arrived today, did a rez change and rinsed all the baking soda off the roots..brought PPM up to 1100 and PH is good (for now) at 5.9.

Are the roots sensitive to a water spray? Or is it just light that they don't like?

Anyway, finally starting to see quick growth now the temps have dropped to the low 80s for about a week. It's about time haha, I hate the heat

nah I pull the root ball righ up and hit it with the hose on "shower" setting, (in my DWC bucket not soil lol) don't want to use settings like jet because you will cut the roots.

glad the growth is starting for you..i think the amount of water is moreso what stunted your growth rather than the heat, though the heat does not help either.

So, to my surprise, my seedling is already starting to flower. On the fourth node I can see little pistils and the 5th has even more. You ever seen this on a seedling so young?
