the first one and second one are males take them out before polle gets on the girl. im impressed with your grow being first time and it was spontanious really good work. mines was fuck paying so much for good weed i can do it my self. ill be checking in im on all the time.

Man I am a nubie and still learning. But I would say that is a good thing if they are heatlhy and growing. Flowers are what you want. Mine (bag seed) had leaves coming out the wazoo. I did not get a response from anyone on trimming so I decided to cut a lot of them on one plant to see what happens. Yours could be due to the strain. Post a pick and I am sure one of these BUD MASTERS on here will chime in!!!

That is half my grow! They pics are from the same plant. I only have two. This F-er had flowers all over it. And it is the one I trimmed the heck out of it. Dont tell me I made it hermie??? I may just cut them off and let her rip!!!

I have read a lot on here about ph and how it can cause lockout if not correct so I decided to check mine. They are using a half gallon or more of water every day. I have had a meter for a month and just have not used it. My ph was 6.6. My understanding is that it should be 5.5 to 5.8. Is that the correct ph for a wf? My ppm was 2600 and that was after I added almost a gallon of plain water the day before. I changed all the nutes and got the ph down to 5.6 and the ppm was 2600. I hope now that I brought down the ph I dont burn them up. Nope, several hours later and they look great!!! 
I have some questions on my meter about calibration but will post somewhere else since I dont get hardly any responses on this thread.
One may be a hermie. Dont know. Been analyzing it all day. Jerked some off, oh wait, I shouldnt say that, lol, pulled off some (what looks like nuts) with tweezers, no pollen inside, at least from what I think pollen would be. I have a couple directly in the light where I can checkem every couple hours. I found some hairs/pistols where it appears to have come out of a little pod looking thing, kinda like the nuts look. (.)(.) oh wait, thats boobs!!! lol
If it is a herm can I just keep cutting his nuts off or the whole stem / area with the nuts??? It is only on a couple of places. The others are all flowers. I dont want to lose half my harvest. Some bud is better than NO BUD!!!! lol

hay skeeter if you dont want seeds kill it if you dont mind some seeds then keep on growing, now i had the same problem in my garden one hermied on me. but the wierd thing is a hermie flower does not look like a regular male flower they just look like little bannanas. i had one with a couple of seed pods it looked like, but that one wasnt the hermie there was another that escaped my eye until it was to late. my flower chamber is not were i can acess it daily so sucks i didnt see it. i suspect u may have the same issue do a good check of all of them top to bottom.

Thanks for your help. You are right. They dont look like the male plant I had. At least I thought it was male. I pulled most of them off. They are only on the plant I trimmed a lot. If these are pollen sacks I wonder if the stress from trimming caused it to hermie??? I left a couple to watch and see what they do. By late yesterday they opened and have hairs coming out. Looks like a flower / bud to me but I could be wrong. Does pollen sacks / nuts have hairs? I am going to let it ride and learn from it. The bud should be good just with seeds, right?

last pic with the hair makes me wonder, but for me from here on out im killing anything thats not normal f some seeds. but on the other hand i let mine finish just to learn what it looks like later for education reasons so its a good idea to let it finish i think.

skeeter after furter looking back at mine u have a hermie soon the pods are gonna open up like little bannas and seed your plant. you can try fighting them but they will win. seeds wont kill ya but lower the yield but it will still smoke good.

I just read the grow journals on here and try it. See what works for me. Some trim and some do not. Both ways seem to work.
For chopping I like the old school method of chopping the whole plant at the root and then hanging the whole plant intact upside down until dry. This is how my cousin did it back in the day. He was a real farmer as well as the weed. It always worked great. Of course this requires a lot of space.

I am battling those little F---ers… I think I am winning. I am laid-off so I have the time to baby them.
This is my first grow so I decided in the beginning it would be for learning purposes. If I get some bud then even better.
The plant “Mr Hermie” looks good with buds everywhere. Of course I don’t want seeds but now I don’t want to kill it. I only have the two plants.
We will see what happens…

dam skeet you got luck like i do started mine in january when i got laid off. my second and third set that just went in a 10 days apart were much healthier than the first because of time to baby them. heres a tip before you flower make sure all of ur plant is good and green any pink stems or leaf stems will turn yellow fast when u put them in flower. if they have any pink or purple on the stem just up the nitrogen till its gone. learned this the hard way with mine now i add nitrogen to the inbetween waterings to keep them green.

I was laid off in Jan as well. First time in my life I have to draw unemployment. Sucks dont it...
Thanks for the tip. They were all nice and green when I went to flower. You can see the pics in the thread. I did see some purple leaf stems but the main stems where all green. I have not had one yellow leaf. Maybe it is because I cut them off! lol
I been using GH nutes and following their aggressive grow program. PPM is up there but they seem to like it. The only thing I add 10 ml of coolbloom in stead of 5 to each gallon.
I made a thread to see if someone could help understand the relationship between PH/PPM. People look but no one replies. Check it out. Maybe you can splain it to me! lol

Seem like there are Hermie threads everywhere lately. All this hermie stuff made me paranoid so I went and pulled the sac I have been watching. Then I found another one. it has opened. Could not find any pollen. Would the pollen look like the pollen you see outside in the spring? Here is a pic of the open sac. Looks like a flower now.

ok im going to take a stab at esplaning this to you as much as i can. ok the ph is relative to the amounts of nutrients it can uptake at certain ph levels. the ideal for me is 5.5 to 6.5. now ppm is the concentration of nutrients in the solution. now the relation of the two is the plant can suck up more of the ppm in solution when the ph is kept at optimul level. now if your ppm doesnt change or goes up i would take that as the ph needs adjusted for more up take now i would assume if your ph is ideal but continues to rise it means your ppm is to hight therefore making the solution more acidic raising the ph. this is my current understanding but dont get me to lying.
