Top shelf strains

I gave some samples to a friend of mine. He said it was good. But it's not a "top shelf" strain. I'm quite disappointed needless to say... I wanna have the best of the best! I'm an egomaniac... Lol. What's some good top shelf strains? What makes it top shelf? I gave him a sample of super lemon haze. I also have jack herer growing. I bought the indica and sativa package from sannies. It consists of herijuana, anesthesia, jackberry, sannies jack, jackhammer, and killing fields. Are any of these "top shelf" strains? The sample I did give him wasn't grown as well as you would've grown it. I am still learning. They were kinda nute/light burned. If none of these are top shelf, do you guys have any suggestions? Basically I want whomever to smoke it, to have their assholes implode after one hit. Assuming that's "top shelf." Any help is appreciated. Thanks! :weed:

i think it's all in the eye of the beholder what 1 person may love another may hate, by the sounds of what you have coming up you should find something to keep your friend happy failing that it maybe just a case of jealousy. i'm still new to it all and grew cheese out last run every1 loved it and it was classed as grade A but i wasn't a fan personally not to my taste, i'm currently growing serious seeds chronic and th seeds heavy duty fruity and after this run finishes up i'm going for serious seeds ak47, white russian and either sannies killing feilds or maddona, i'm hoping that these will fill the desired criteria?

Herijuana is a knock you on your ass strain! Most of sannies genetics are top shelf. They would be the "expensive line" in the weed clubs.

although i am not a big fan of ghsc products.. ok, ok, i rather louthe ghsc, but anyhoo's.. i think alot of what makes a strain top quality is a good grow, and more importantly, a good dry and a great cure do more to make a strain top shelf over anything else imho...
saying all of that, any of those new strains your getting from sannies, grown properly and given a nice cure, should blow your buddy away..

"top shelf" is a very much based on personal taste. of course, the Big Ones would be considered top shelf: the widow strains, the kush strains, the skunks.
i personally would call a few breeders top shelf, like tga subcool, dna, even barney's farm.
can't call a bank top shelf because they are just the middle man.
but also the finished product is only as good as how it was treated during its life cycle.

I'm curious, how do you guys cure properly? I put mine in a cabinet for about five days and then, put them in jars... That sound about right? That good enough? I guess I'll stick with what I have for now... I wanted to get og18 (assuming that was top shelf) but they're out of stock... FML. I was gonna buy this week. All my other friends say what I have "is the bomb shit" and it's the best they've smoked. But that other douchebag says he's had better. I can't have that... Lol. Hopefully herijuana does the trick. I wanna put his ass in a coma and dip my balls in his face.

beatifully stated....listen to this man, alot of it is in genetics tho. most all strains available today have potential to be top shelf...some are easier to achieve this...

i always dry till the outside of the bud feels dry to the touch. i then jar and keep moist as long as possible. i will set aside a few nugs to sample and keep me smoking...i always let tops cure the longest....keep that bud moist, the more moist the bud is the riskier. keep the jars, environment and hands clean when burping.

Just because a strain has the capability to produce world class smoke doesn't mean every pheno you find will be the best. People go through multiple packs just to find a specific pheno of a particular strain. It's naive to think just because a strain won a cup that every seed has that potential.

Yeah their stuff is not bad marijuana, i mean it is pot that will get you high and does smell nice and taste nice but it is a bitch and a half to actually grow and the odds of you getting what youwant arn't as good because they are about making as many seeds as possible more than releasing quality strains. They dont need to be amazing to survive, the little guys do and many times live up to it.
