Topping?

Okay so i think im just going to FIM I have another node coming in right now and the leaves arnt all the way developed yet but they already have another set of leaves inside of them, so should i cut the brand new not really developed leaves? <-------------if that made any sense at all.

Yes you can just cut the wee little leaves.. I prefer to pinch, but because i believe its less stressfull.. Just pinch/cut the newest, smallest leaves

Please go somewhere man.. you are giving bad advice, and you dont know what your saying. Fimming and topping are very different.

After you have 5TH FULL sets of leaves ( not counting the wee tiny round leaves at the bottom, called cotyledens or some shit like that ), as soon as the new growth is 1/2 inch away from the 5TH full set of leaves, just pinch ( or cut ) the new growth off. You will get new "main stems" and more colas.

This isn't rocket science, it's a weed.

This was all new to me. I just gave it a try and cut as close to main stem as possible. The end result is in my profile pics. I was a bit nervous but you hear a lot of times, its a weed. So went for it. Did do much but get bushier. Heck I may have it wrong too;-)

Only if you top it all the way to the soil line leaving no leaves at all...as long as you leave one healthy leaf on a plant it will regrow, albeit slowly...I do not suggest removing all but one leaf.

Topping can produce a nice rack but you'll get far more tops without stunting by training your plant. I think they call it lst ing or something on here. I had a horse top an autoflower that just started budding and set it back to October. I like topping but training is far more productive, especially when you fish the main stem under the dirt for larger root mass.

are you insinuating the tip would grow roots if twisted back into the soil?
