Touching Seeds When Germinating

It's been a 4 days since I started germinating some bag seed and so far no results...before this morning I left the paper towel just damp but today I soaked it just to make sure they're getting enough water. Question though, does handling the seeds affect them? Are they that sensitive? Cause I've been kinda impatient and I've picked them up a few times to inspect them and I dunno if any oils on my hands or anything will hurt them.

touching them shouldnt hurt them much. a tip for germinating though- dont soak them in the paper towels, put them in very warm water for 24 hours then put them in moist soil and water them each day, and they will sprout much quicker. i just started doing that and it works a lot better, them warm water wakes them right up. i would put the seeds you got in soil now though. since youve had them there for a few days now, you dont want to rot them. and make sure they are plump and brown, if not they may not sprout.

try putting them in a verry moist enviroment kinda warm under lights...
touching them won't hurt, just don't try and break them open yourself...
