Toxisity or deficincy?

I thought this was nitrogen toxicity at first so i lowered the nutrient ppm from 350 to 200. Still hasn't improved any. What do you think?

Not too long ago I gave them 500ppm and both my plants got burned. It's in a hempy bucket that's 80% perlite and 20 vermiculite. I water every day because you cant over water a hempy. And I tried watering every other day but that didn't help any. It just made the ph raise a bunch more then it normally does in the bottom of the bucket. And I have another plant that I toped and it's doing fine and mich bigger.

One ph meter says 5.5 the other says 5.9 when I water. The ph in the bucket before I water is 6.3. Which seems a little high.

Hmm, when you get two different readings it's hard to know what one to trust. I would run both meters through a calibration procedure and take note of how far off each one is. Then you can see what reading, if either, was correct. Anytime you see two different readings you should calibrate and see that both meters are working properly. It is good to have two meters for this reason. If you were only going by one reading and that was off you wouldn't know unless you stuck it in calibration solution (something that never hurts to do).

Also, your 350 PPM, what conversion scale from EC is that? 0.5? I haven grown in straight perlite / vermiculite since the early 90's and I wasn't even aware that pH was a thing in growing back then lol. That PPM level does seem pretty soft, if the plant is showing burn at 500 PPM it could be low pH. What is your water source? Tap can cause the pH to climb in the bucket.

I use the general hydroponics flora micro, grow, bloom nutrients. I also use calimag. I use the same ratios as in this chart but more diluted.

Where’s that recipe from? That’s about 1/4 strength. 2.5 ml per gallon bloom in flowerering is retarded, along with the rest of those dosages.

Right now im going off of week 2 nutrients but with the 1/2 teaspoon calimag. And like I said I dilute it more then what the chart shows. I just use similar ratios of each nutrient to each other. When i mix up 3/4 gallon of water I end up only using about 1.4 ml grow/ micro, .3ml bloom and 3.7 ml calimag for around 400 ppm. I dont know if thats too mich calimag but that's what is recommended by the bottle and other charts for weed plants.
