Basically im thinking it was the big bud because i never over used it before,

i would do a feed as follows - before the fuck up.

Water
miss a day
big bud
miss a day
water

but then i did

big bud
miss a day
big bud

big bud
miss a day

thats when i had my problems other than that the plants have been perfect threw all 4 months.

2 feedings to one watering seems to be a pretty standard way of going about it. When my plants were younger I would do 2 waterings to one feeding, then as they got bigger switched to 2 feedings to one watering. Eventually after all that feeding I needed a flush, I figured you weren't too far off. As stated previously a ph meter is the way to go, no guess work, I'm limping by on some strips I found at wallyworld.
