Transplanted in early flower

Alright currently I'm either 17 days into flower or im 10 days into flower, depending on when you're actually supposed to start counting. I flipped my plant to 12/12 on like the 5th or 6th of this month but I didn't see any pistils until the 13th. About a week or so after flipping her to 12/12 I transplanted her into a 6 gallon fabric pot from a 3 gallon plastic pot because I knew she was close to getting root bound (I know this because I had 3 other plants but they all turned out to be male and their root balls were all almost the same size). Now this plant started out early in veg with alot of problems and issues with deficiencies and whatnot, but towards the end of her veg she did a complete 180 and surprised me on how well she was growing given the circumstances. As for her flower cycle, there are some things that I am curious about. 1. I've noticed more and more pistil growth each day but it isn't the same aggressive growth that I'm used to seeing, like in veg, is this normal? 2. She is roughly still the same height as when I flipped her to flower, no stretch to really speak of yet and from what I've read it usually happens in the first couple weeks after the stretch, could the transplant have anything to do with this? Maybe she is trying to spread roots while she would normally be using all that energy on stretching? This is my first grow and first plant to make it to flower so im totally lost for the most part. I just wanted to get some opinions on this so I get an idea as to why she hasn't stretched and if she is growing slower than normal because I transplanted her in the flowering cycle. I was really careful with the roots, they basically stayed together as one big root mass when I pulled her out of the pot and she seemed to bounce back rather quickly. Here are a couple pictures of her that I took yesterday

When a plant is stressed it will slow the growth or stop completely. If transplanting is done correctly you will have very little stress on the plant. I would recommend transplanting before flower and give the plant time to settle. As far as stretching goes indica do not stretch like sativa and genetics will play a large part here. The first 2-3 weeks of flower are anticlimactic. Bud sites are developing. You will start to see buds start to develop around week 4 depending on strain.

I am pretty confident I didn't stress her out during the transplant. Of course I can't say with 100% certainty. Her root ball stayed intact the entire time and i was very careful knowing the risks i was taking, I knew it wasn't the best idea to transplant her after I had already flipped her to flower but I had her in a 3 gallon pot and I was really worried that she would get root bound pretty bad once I got later into flowering. I decided to take that risk. My other 3 plants were male so when I removed them from my grow area I took them all out of their pots to check out the roots and they were definitely close to being root bound so I assumed my female wasn't too far behind. She's definitely grown some since I transplanted her i was just wanting to know whether im on the right track or if I should've seen a little more growth during this time. This is my first grow so as far as experience goes I have none lol all I know is what I've constantly read throughout the grow

Another question, when do you start counting for flowering? I've read different answers. Some say you start
She looks really good. I'm sure you'll get some really nice flower.
Man that is nice to hear
This plant almost died while it was still early in veg. It got super sick from what im assuming was a deficiency caused by pH issues and at the time I had the mindset of "oh well if it dies I have 3 more". Little did I know those 3 plants were male. Here is one of the pictures. Maybe you can tell what was wrong with her

Yeah thats bad ph lockouts. I grow with living soil and don't have to worry about ph anymore. If you want to try organic I can give you a recipe.

Actual flower doesn’t start until around the 2nd week after the flip. The plant is still transitioning out of its veg state. As far as stretching is concerned, if you have a weak light, there won’t be considerable stretching. If you’re feeding Nutes, be sure to ph your water. Last thing you want is to get this far and have a less than desirable product.

Yeah dude that would be awesome. I've been wanting to make my own soil to try out I just haven't really gotten around to it lol

Yeah I didn't finish that question did I? Lol. I meant to say, I read some say it starts when you flip your lights to 12/12 and others say its when you see your first pistils.. and I THINK my light(s) are fairly decent, everyday when I come home my leaves are "praying", does that mean they're getting strong intense light or does it just mean that they're getting alot of light? If that makes sense. I haven't been pH'ing anything lol I don't really know what I did to fix the plant but it got better and I've just been winging it ever since. All of the equipment I have came from Walmart. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on my first grow with some bag seed. I've been meaning to get a pH meter at least so I don't run into the same problems I had in veg

Beginning of flowering you will see the nodes start having shorter space between them.

"Synthetic nutes" or chem nutes kill microbial life in the soil. So when people buy $50 bags of mycorrhizae its a waste because it just dies. Organic soil you don't have to till the soil every grow. You just add some enzymes and transplant into the same pot.

-Canna coco brick. This is about 25 bucks bit makes 40liters. Add a small amount of nutrients when hydrating.
-Biochar. Make sure its not powdered. It should have chunks in it. Soak the biochar in a liquid nutrient 1/8 to 7/8 water before using. You don't need much. $10 or $20 bag goes along way.
-Greensand. Has multiple minerals.
-Crab meal
-Kelp meal
-Worm castings. You can buy good cheap worm castings off etsy. Bioactive is key. You don't want casting that have been sitting in a bag for a year. You only need 1/4 to 1/6 total worm casting in mix
-Neem meal.
-Mycorrhizae. I use dynomco. You can use a small amount when mixing the soil and again when germinating. You want to start the relationship between the the mycorrhizae and plant early.
This mix will get you going with a liquid nutrient schedule.

You can add dry fertilizers as a top dressing throughout grows and they will break down over time. It doesn't take much. A light sprinkle or dusting works great.

Roots uprising can be used to mix or as a top dressing
Alfalfa meal
Blood meal
Bone meal
Bat quano, diffrent types for veg and flower. Expensive but works really well.

Liquid fertilizer.
Fish emulsion.
Roots organics has a large line of dry and liquid organics. Buddha grow and bloom are great.
Stay away from advanced nutrients. They have failed test multiple times.
Black strap molasses. Don't use this very often it feeds the microbes but will make them lazy.

Here's one of my no till organic plants.
Damn that bitch is bushy. Im gonna give that a shot on a future grow. One concern im having right now that I just nitride l noticed is on a few of my fan leaves, I see the "fingers" or "blades" turning OUTWARDS, not curling down, not curling up, they're literally like turning away from the middle main blade of the leaf. The plant looks healthy otherwise. Could this be pH issue in the making or some sort of deficiency? I can't find anything online about this specific problem. I'll see if I can get a few pictures of it so you can see what I'm talking about

Ok here is a picture with some of the leaves visible. I drew some arrows the best I could but you can see how the leaves are pointing away from the middle blade. Is this just the way the plant is growing or is this an early sign of something more nefarious?

I doubt its due to anything negative. If you don't have drooping, burnt tips, discoloration, or spots, don't worry so much. Getting through a grow with decent flower is a good start.

That makes me feel much better. I don't know what to look for when it comes to early signs of problems so any time I see something that, to me doesn't look normal, I panic a little. I don't want to get this far and have something bad happen lol
