I used to bring small amounts of drugs (not pot) to Mexico all the time. I even walked right past a couple of sniffer dogs once - no reaction. And believe me...I was looking for one. I had the drugs in balloons in my mouth and I would have swallowed that shit faster than you can say "es una problema officer?"
I think bringing pot to mexico is like bringing an eight ball to columbia - it's a reverse commute and noone really cares.
But still....no matter what you will always have those moments where you're sure you've made a horrible mistake and are going to that super scary prison in Rosarita Beach...much easier to ask a cab driver or bartender where to score once you are there.
I mean, it's not like you're trying to score heroin or anything. ( ;

Um i figured since everyone was telling thier smuggling stories i'd just throw one out there! My buddy was traveling back from Amsterdam into the US. He had some killer hash left and decided he wanted to bring it home. He bought a new pair of boots with deep treads on the bottom. Just stuck some hash in there and walked right on through onto the plain and flew right on home. The idea was to act like he must have just stepped on it back in Amsterdam if he was to get caught. It worked for him! As for the guy smuggling weed into Mexico... hmmm... i dont think i can come up with another insult that someone else hasn't already thrown at him... i know he posted this like 2 months ago or something... i wonder if he's sitting in Mexican jail getting hammered by Pedro and Juan?

I love dope, coke, and even crack and brown occasionally. But Ill tell you what I REALLY like, and it is the most harmful thing of all-booze.
Sensible use is the key to drug sucess, and the bloke that says Smack is bad for you. You are WAAAY wrong. it is possible to do Heroin every day for years with no ill effects, it doesn't harm your organs at all, Ill admit the things it are cut with can be bad for you. But Heroin is perfectly harmless. The drug itself--without being cut, without being used to the point of od--is not toxic to the body the way, say, crack or methamphetamine are. It does cause constipation. Many users say it affects your teeth, your skin, etc., but rotting teeth and open sores are the result of poor hygiene. When you're high, when you're addicted to heroin, you don't care about ANYTHING but the drug. You don't care about your health, your money, your teeth, etc. That is why the heroin epidemic has caused so many medical and societal problems.
But Heroin itself is pretty harmless.

Oh and talking of smuggling things, the method I have always used is to just to hold it in my hand. And to always be chewing gum to ensure there is plenty of saliva in my mouth, so if anyone looks at me in an odd manner, or if things go wrong in any way Ill just eat it.

l've been to mex countless times, mex does have good bud but the quality suffers in smuggling. 1:your idea is crack. 2:mexico DOES care. 3:l've been in rosareto jail for one nite. for not having a $10 bribe for pissing in public, l deserved it. 4:friend spent 2 and a half years in mexican prison for weed,. he didn't deserve it. butt... and l say that ambigously...butt if you must. a man has 2 holes a woman 3. l'm a man, done it, 2 zs,and l don't swallow. I went to Cozumel last june and took about 7g's of cheese with me, probably the most smelliest weed you can get and got through fine, this was from the uk but im planning on going back to Cozumel next month and plan on taking 14g with me this time, whats going on over there atm then as i thought they was sort of decriminalizing mj in sunny mexico?

That sounds like a lot of work, plus you have to carry it on your person. The trick I have used in the past with international and domestic flights is take a condom and unroll it into a shampoo bottle. Put your goodies in the condom and tie it, then shake the shampoo bottle. If you put it in your checked baggage, they will likely test it for explosives and not much else, and the it is ok to bring liquid in your checked baggage. It has worked for me several times.
