Tree Like Potential?

Keep in mind this is an outdoor soil grow from a clone that has been dragged through the mud by my own mistakes. Poor little lady was mistreated for some time.

Here is the story...after you read this and check out the photos and time lines please share with me if you think this thing has the potential to get big. I certainly think so based on some basic things I'm seeing.

This clone (far left)was sold to me as LA Conf. An Indica Dom. No way is she Indica in my opinion. Maybe a hybrid. But certainly Sativa Dom is some form.

Photo 1288 was the initial transplant from rooted clone to half gallon pot (April 5th). She's on the left.

Photo 1321 (April 19)is a photo from two weeks later. Early this year we had a bit of a heat wave and I litterally killed my clones due to 90+ degree heat exposure on such a young plant. They were scorched. It took them weeks to recover. Mininal to no growth, just recovery. Kept them in the shade for the recovery time and she bounced back.

Photo 1326 (April 26) is my final transplant into what I believe is a 10gal pot. This plant has finaly healed her wounds from a rough start and can now begin her summer long veg.

Problem...I put them out too early and many of my plants flipped to flower. My opinion is that she is a Sativa Dom and is or was flowering at a very slow rate. Yet she is/was flowering and probably sucked up more than a bit of my veg growth in this period. Moving forward I feel I will have plenty of veg time but my plant will always be feeding these small bud sites throughout the summer.

Photo 1396 (June 7th) Here is a photo of her stalk. Easily over a half an inch thick, maybe 5/8ths??? This with 7 weeks of true healthy outdoor growth.

Photo 1397 (June7th) She's not terribly tall, under 18" but is very very dense. No fluff. I could try to open her up and take photos but it's difficult. Maybe you can ask for certain photos in order to aid in her potential. If I had to guess she has a few hundred but sites. Many branches that are very long with bud sites everywhere.

Everything I'm seeing says she could be or has the potential to be a massive producer. A tree almost...These photos just don't cut it. The top view doesn't really show that she has what I see to be a solid 6 or more tops.

She has seen zero veg time indoors and only has 7 weeks of healthy outdoor growth.

Had she not flipped into flower and had I not scorched her early in her life I feel I could have a bit more height and girth.

If she's worth saving the genetics I will make the necessary moves to clone her.

What do you guys think? Typical growth or something with potential?

We'll see what happens. I'll keep feeding her for sure.

Anyone else with additional input is appreciated. It looks like she reverted back to veg full time. I hope she really starts to take off.

That clone is stressed out. Its hormones are all outta whack.

When you learn to match your clones Photoperiod to the outside light you wont have silly looking plants.

Wow that thing doesn't even look like a weed plant. I mean that is a bushy f***er
Oh it's MJ for sure. :bigjoint:

I was going to tie down some of her limbs to get some more light in but figured as she gets bigger the limbs will drop down themselves because of the weight.

Each branch has at least 5-10 shoots (is that the right word).

Are you referring to that single bladed leaf in the first pic or are you just flexing your mad skills? This year I took some cuttings, and I had a few of those funky single bladed leaves after they started rooting, but now they've all gone and they are all full bladed pot leaves. Now the cuttings are thick and bushy as hell, should be a good potential for some tree-like shrubbery. :bigjoint:

I pulled up a branch to show you what I'm talking about. See that thick branch in the middle of the pic...that's not the main stalk that's just a branch. It has like a dozen different shoots.

She hasn't formed any new but sites in a while so I hope she is back to full time veg. She has little nugs everywhere though.

No those little things aren't ball sacs either :)

mine are from seed. i put them into 12/12 when they were 12 inches tall. i left them there for 10 days then put them outside. they went into partial flowering and are now reverting back to veg. i have seeded the few hairs that showed and should have ripe seeds any day now. the single bladed leaves are a result of the "silly" light schedule i intentionally put them thru.

i love when my plants go silly. gives me a chance to grow seeds during veg. :bigjoint: IMG_2736.jpg

I'm wondering what the final product is gonna be from this particular plant.

Trichs on all the leaves already but the few buds that bloomed were so premature that there is no way to tell what it's gonna be like. I think I'm gonna clone a few of her and try to cross her with a big producer for next years outdoor session. :bigjoint:

Got any ATF seeds layin' around fdd

Of course, this is assuming this plant of mine turns out to be something respectable.
