tricky AC location question

I have to exhaust it outside to keep the hot air out. It says not to extent the exhaust duct, so I have to keep it in the room next to my op because it has a window.

I can either duct the cold air into my op, but the unit is not made for this.

My other option is to cool down the room the AC unit will sit in and let the passive intake suck the cold air into my op.

Which way do you think will work better?
