yeh ive heard of people removing fan leaves,it really doesnt make any fucking sense at all if you know a thing at all about plants,the LEAVES are the things used for energy production(its not production as such,but plant needs light to break down and use its food properly in simple terms)
why would removing large big solar panels,which is what they are,help anything????
although its chlorophyll that does the job,i dont think the calxyes themselves(the flowers) have the internal mechanisms to do the job in hand even tho they have chlorophyll in

Look at it this way;
You're building a house where the power lines don't go, do you want one with:
a.) 1 solar array and a 7" tv
b.) 12 solar arrays and a 60" flatscreen
????????
Or;
You could cut off the solar arrays and just let the sun shine on the flatscreen.
