True Beginner / Poor Man's Grow

Update!!!!!! Finally got everything done...it's been busy busy all day since I got off work. Anyway, I got the rest of the stuff I needed for the DWC bucket, and finished it. Everything looks great! I had to take the pumps that were going to the 1 gal jugs I had my feeding water in and devote them to the DWC, but I'm not to worried about it. Superthrive and about 1/4th mix of MG Nutes were put in the DWC. The plants still seem to be a bit droopy, I'm guessing they just havn't fully shaken back from yesterdays dehydration. Lastly, I made a video update for you guys...it's uploading now but should be done in the next few mins.

Tornadoes cut down on the electricity bill.

Really? Lol...everything is ok right now, just hit a clear patch, but the worst of the weather will be here shortly. I have to work in 5 hours though so I'm gonna try to get some sleep -_- I'll let you guys know if anything happens.

Nice job on the DWC system. I'm about to set one of those up myself so I'll have to check back to see how easy they are to operate.

We survived the tornadoes! there ended up being atleast 2, maybe 3 that passed by us...one was on the other side of town, and one lifted about a mile before it passed our house. The power was only out for about 10 minutes last night, so nothing happened to the girls Also, found a male today...I hate to cut it, but I really don't have another cabinet to use just yet, I'll show a picture to you guys later so you can help me decide.

Well, I was convinced 12/12 from seed wasn't such a bad idea...most places I looked it really didn't seem to effect the size of the plant much. I mean of course vegging longer will give you bigger numbers, but I wasn't looking for bigger numbers at all. I wanted a SOG Also my temps were just really high at the time and my room mate was tired of having the gateway to heaven in his room.

What's up everybody!?!? Got some good pics for you tonight Finally found the point at which the plants take too much nute. I think it's somewhere between a 1/3rd and 1/2 dose of MG All Purpose. Some of my plants have been burned a tad bit, but nothing major...giving them a good fresh taste of water with superthrive for the next cycle. So far the superthrive has been amazing. Either I'm tripping, or some of the plants nearly double in size over night...the stems grow a rediculous amount of size. The clones that I started seem to still be hanging on. 2/4 seem to be having trouble, and I'm pretty sure out of that 2 atleast 1 more than likely won't make it. The other 2 look fine to me, an inch or 2 of the stem is straight with the head drooped over...hoping some roots will show around tomorrow. The male is here for you guys too! I love the structure on that plant and would love to breed it with something else, but I'm not to sure if I'm just crazy trying to do that all to quick or if I should go ahead an try it. How long do I have before I need to worry about it pollenating my group?

I would be heart broken if they pollenated too Lol....I feel like I'm getting close. Wish I had the experience to know how much longer I have ><

if ur patient,they will tell you.youll know when u look at them. you keepn trak of everything?u gota scope? when mine near the flowering time period of finishing,i just watch them.u know what a mature ganja bud looks like rt? surely youve smoked plenty! youll know man,youll know. lol

oh yeah most def...kinda off on all the dates and things though, I think temps and lighting has kinda stunted them a little so I'm probably a week or 2 off. The big one in the blue pot with all the side branches started flowering on 3/3, so we're at the beginning of week 9. If so that means I have some where between 4-6 weeks correct? But even then, I just can't see how I'm going to get 7 grams dry from that plant -_- Lol. Maybe something will happen and the buds will explode?? Or maybe I just need to suck it up and buy some seeds ><

waddup everybody? Me and my room mate decided it would be a good decision to transfer the plants into my room. It took me about 30-45 mins, and the plants were without light at most 30 mins. I'm not too worried about it. Everything seems to run much smoother in the compact closet that I have, and temps so far have been slightly easier to control. Earlier I went to a local fast food place and grabbed a couple of boxes they didn't need, then found a roll of duck tape at home and decided to build a new veg cab. In the move I noticed that the plant in the blue pot which was way late to sex has turned out to be male. I threw the clone and the male into the veg box, just until I can figure out a good place outside to grow him. I'll try to get a picture update in tomorrow or Thursday if I can.

BTW: All my clones failed....pretty sure they just dried out, but this time I'm using a dome so hopefully I should have better luck

Any light leaks in that grow area? Those plants should be WAY farther along in the flowering cycle for 47 days.

The veg cabinet is almost completely blocked, apart from the intake hole and the out take fan. The flowering room is in a closet, and the door stays open or cracked about a foot while the lights are on. This is the only way that I can control temperatures atm.
