If Meadows is cooperating a lot more people than Donald will need to worry including those in congress. He has to tell Jack everything, confess and plead guilty to his own crimes, testify against others and tell the DOJ of any crimes by others he has knowledge of.

George Conway points to a 'strange quietness' from Mark Meadows amid Trump's potential third indictment

Dude nothing's going to happen! I promise you he has a get out of jail card.
Things have already happened, Trump has already been indicted for crimes that can put him away for life and the hits will keep coming, state and federal. Soon the rats will be squealing and dealing and with this bunch there is no shortage of cutthroats. We are in the entertainment/punishment phase now.

The target letter special counsel Jack Smith sent Trump listed the three charges he will face: conspiracy to defraud the US Government, obstruction of an official proceeding, and deprivation of civil rights which will likely focus on the insurrection's direct effect on Congresspeople.

The hits will keep coming, even if he weasels out of one another state or federal charge will get him. Cannon can do him no good and other than a mild delay that might hurt the GOP the most, she shouldn't throw herself on his burning funeral pyre. If she delays the trial until after the new year it will mean a trial during the republican primary season and a verdict before the convention. Donald will screw the GOP in 24 if he is allowed to run around too long. States don't need an insurrection conviction to keep Trump off the ballot over the J6 insurrection either and a dozen or more states will if he wins the republican nomination. A delay in Justice could leave the republicans high and dry before the election in 24 and divided a worst case for them would be Trump leading or winning the primaries, only to be removed by the party at the convention while he is in custody awaiting sentencing. Then Trump and his base would turn on the GOP in all-out war just before the election!

The latest indictments coming in DC are a whole new ballgame with a set of very unsympathetic judges and that J6 case could get ahead of a simple case like the documents and obstruction of justice. If Donald threatens prosecutors and witnesses with some of these judges, they will jail him until trial, no matter what Cannon does in Florida or how loud the magats howl.

life will do. There is no point in keeping his corpse in prison until 25 years are up. Maybe when he dies, release him for good behavior.

After he is criminally convicted, he will be making subsequent court appearances in orange, perhaps even for his Georgia trial. These are not complex hard to prove cases, the evidence is overwhelming in all cases. Sooner or later though they would have to give him a pass on a lot of other crimes, if they involved others they could prosecute him as part of their cases, or just leave him as an unindicted coconspirator. Technically Donald committed a long list of crimes while in office right down to ripping up documents.

One of the reasons he lost the election was over mail in ballots and he cooked up a scheme with Dejoy to fuck up the mails during the election. He probably won't be charged for that conspiracy either unless he squeals on Dejoy from inside prison. There are so many examples of Trump violating the law as president that his trials alone would take decades!
