TRUMP CONVICTED

Donald appears to be losing badly in court and losing his marbles in public too. It shakes one's faith in democracy when such an obvious moron and miscreant can still seduce so many. They must be running out of excuses for the guy by now, or soon will, most would rather not talk about it and should be left in their silence to think things through.

Oh this is hilarious:
If you're in a courtroom as an attorney, and you mention Breitbart dot com as a credible source of information, you might want to consider trading in your law degree for a comedian's microphone.

Donald Trump's attorney expressed concerns about a mistrial in the $250 million fraud case, citing the right-wing media website's accusation of bias against a New York City law clerk.

Chris Kise referenced a Breitbart report as the source of his concern, and the courtroom burst into laughter. "I think the defense will have to give serious consideration to seeking a mistrial,"

Kise stated during the Friday morning proceedings, as reported by ABC News.

In response, Judge Engoron characterized the report as an "allegation" rather than substantive information, emphasizing that it pertained to a "random individual" with "accusations of partisan political activity."

An attorney from Attorney General Letitia James's office questioned the seriousness of Kise's claims, particularly since he couldn't immediately recall the website responsible for the report. Kise defended himself, saying, "I'm not the internet person. I want to say it is on Breitbart, maybe? It's on a news outlet."

"i heard it somewhere on the internet"

why do i get the strange feeling this attorney is gonna need an attorney....hmmm

Wait for the NY criminal trial over this after they clean him out, you don't do this shit without breaking the law and conducting a criminal conspiracy, the Trump crime family is a real thing. The Biden crime family is not, and it is projecting, muddying the waters, both sides are the same, everybody does it and good ole Goebbels, "accuse the other side of what you yourself are guilty of". Trump and his kids will face criminal charges over this too, probably a conspiracy of some kind to get them to rat out daddy who should be in prison by then. Donald will again likely be the only defendant in orange when he shows up for court over it.

I think Maga Mike is trying to appease Trump until the axe falls with disqualification and if they disqualify him, all Hell will break loose inside the GOP. Trump will be on criminal trial during their primaries, and he will be endorsing and attacking house and senate candidates. I figure he could even mount a write in campaign for the primaries, Biden is doing it in New Hampshire! ;) First a grift on it though to raise money for lawyers and to keep afloat. Write Trump in .com with the usual rape and pillage tactics used on the suckers for stop the steal and other fund raisers. He will use the republicans and his base like toilet paper on the way down.

Ready to go on in DC on March 4th with a jury already seated.

Judge Chutkan announces she will now begin calling jurors in for Trump's DC case on February 9.

As just reported by The Washington Post, Judge Tanya Chutkan, the judge presiding over Donald Trump's criminal trial in the District of Columbia for trying to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, just announced that she will begin bringing jurors to court on February 9, so they can fill out juror questionnaires in preparation for jury selection.

One thing is crystal clear - when Judge Chutkan told Trump's defense counsel that the March 4 trial date "will not yield to an election cycle," she plainly meant it.

Let's see, the trial starts on March 04 and is expected to take no more than about 6 weeks, on the outside we should have a verdict May 1st 2024. Will he be jailed pretrial or after conviction? That depends on if he is disqualified from what I can see, they don't appear to want to jail him until they get a decision from a state or the SCOTUS.

Lawrence: D.C. trial jury selection process moves ahead despite Trump delay tactics

MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell analyzes the Defendant Trump's latest delay tactics and the breaking news that Judge Tanya Chutkan has scheduled the jury selection process to begin in Trump's federal election case on February 9.

Trump Screamed Profanities At His Own Lawyer For Half An Hour Over Trial Date

According to a new report based on conversations with those close to Donald Trump, the former president was so irate about the trial date set by Judge Tanya Chutkan that he screamed profanities at his own lawyer for about half an hour. Trump allegedly screamed at Todd Blanche, one of his many lawyers, for allegedly costing him the election because the trial date would take place right in the middle of the primaries. Farron Cousins explains what happened.

Donald is a real asshole magnet, who else inspires and promotes thousands of death threats against damn near everybody. An appeal to the nation's morons, bigots, emotionally unstable and mentally ill. Who associates and identifies themselves with such people? At this point most are really out of excuses without going off into an alternate reality, evil and stupid are the only options left. I'm afraid these days politics matters a lot, it never used to, but the country, democracy and constitution weren't on the line along with the future of generations. They want to entrust your children's safety and future to Donald Trump or the republicans. Are you fucking serious?

‘How stupid do they have to be?’: Michael Cohen blasts Don Jr. and Eric's NY civil trial testimony

Fmr. Trump attorney Michael Cohen joins Ali Velshi to discuss new developments since his testimony in Trump’s NY civil trial case, why he’s calling on Judge Engoron to expand Trump’s gag order to include protections for witnesses like himself, and why he believes Don Jr. and Eric lied under oath when they took the stand this week. "Let me be very clear: Eric has never poured concrete in his life," he tells Velshi. "And Don Jr. claims he was just a broker... they were not just brokers. They were in charge of running the company while their father was president under the control of Allen Weisselberg who was the trustee."

Trump GETS EXPOSED during trial, CRIMINAL CHARGES could be NEXT

The New York Attorney General is not done with Donald Trump, and is now considering possible enterprise corruption and racketeering criminal charges against Trump, his children and possibly Rudy Giuliani. Michael Popok of Legal AF reports on new investigative information revealed by the Daily Beast that suggests that if New York’s current governor gives the green light, either the New York Attorney General or the Manhattan, DA will attempt to crush Trump criminally next.

Trump ahead of court appearance: ‘A dark day for our Country’
Former President Trump on Monday railed against his fraud case in New York City just hours before he is expected to appear in court and potentially take the stand.
“Got a really Biased, Nasty, Club controlled, but often overturned, Judge, a Racist, Evil, and Corrupt Attorney General, BUT A CASE THAT, ACCORDING TO ALMOST ALL LEGAL SCHOLARS, HAS ZERO MERIT,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. “A dark day for our Country. WITCH HUNT!”

Trump’s appearance Monday could mark a pivotal moment in New York Attorney General Letitia James’s lawsuit against the former president, the Trump organization and Trump’s sons, Eric and Donald Trump Jr.

James’s $250 million suit alleges more than a decade of fraud, accusing Trump, some of his children and their business of falsely inflating and deflating the value of the Trump Organization’s assets in order to receive lower taxes and more insurance coverage.
Trump has long argued his fraud case in New York is part of a Democratic-led effort to weaponize the courts against him ahead of the 2024 election.

Trump currently faces four other criminal cases over alleged election interference, hush money payments in New York and mishandling of classified documents in Florida.

Several polls in recent weeks show Trump and President Biden in a tight match-up, though a poll from The New York Times and Siena College published Sunday shows Biden trailing the former president in five key battleground states.
“This is the first time this method of cheating in an election has been so blatantly used in the USA as a POLITICAL WEAPON!” Trump wrote Monday. “Mostly done in Third World Countries.”

In a series of reposts overnight and into Monday, Trump re-upped his posts from last week that called Judge Arthur Engoron — who is overseeing the trial — “crazy,” “unhinged” and a “political hack” that is “doing the dirty work for the Democrat party.”

Engoron in September ruled that Trump, the Trump Organization and other defendants in the case are liable for fraud in the case.
Trump has maintained his innocence throughout the trial while continually expressing his frustration and anger both online and outside of the courtroom over the investigation into his business.

If Trump takes the stand, he will likely be asked about information on who is responsible for the Trump Organization’s fraud, Laurie Levenson, a law professor at Loyola Marymount University, told The Hill.

Trump ticks off political grievances on witness stand in New York civil fraud trial: Live updates
Judge chides Trump for political answers
After Trump aired his frustration over “Democrat” prosecutors and attorneys general “coming after” him, Judge Arthur Engoron asked him to keep the political answers to a minimum.
“I’d like to move things along a little faster; please no speeches,” Engoron said, drawing an objection from Trump attorney Chris Kise.
A few questions later, Trump took aim at the judge. He claimed that the allegations against him are “well beyond the statute of limitations.”
“I’m sure the judge will rule against me because he always rules against me,” Trump said.
“You can attack me whenever you want but answer the questions,” Engoron later said in response.

Trump plays down financial statements
Trump attempted to play down the importance of his statements of financial condition when working with banks.
The documents are at the heart of the New York attorney general’s case against him and his business, which asserts that Trump and his co-defendants falsely inflated and deflated the value of the Trump Organization’s assets to receive lower taxes and better insurance coverage.
Trump said the statements of financial condition were “not really documents that the banks paid much attention to.”
“I’ve been dealing with banks for 50 years and probably know banks as well as anybody,” Trump said. “I know what they look at; they look at the deal.”

Trump calls 'Democrat' prosecutors 'all Trump haters'
Trump ticked off his political grievances on the witness stand in New York, while detailing how he left his business when his presidency began because he “thought it might be a conflict of interest.”
He appointed his son, Donald Trump Jr., whom he called “smart” and “a very honorable guy,” a trustee.
When he left the White House after losing the 2020 election, he appointed himself a trustee of the business, expecting to be “back in the business world for a little while.”
He complained that around the same time, “Democrat” prosecutors and state attorney generals — “all Trump haters,” he said — began to “come after” him.
“Weaponization, they call it,” Trump said.

Judge threatens to dismiss Trump and "draw every negative inference that I can"
The sniping between Judge Arthur Engoron and Donald Trump has been a feature of the first 30 or so minutes of testimony, with the judge getting impatient at various tangents from the former president.

"Mr. Kise, can you control your client?" Engoron said to Trump attorney Chris Kise.

"This is not a political rally. This is a courtroom," he added.
Later, the judge said: "In addition to the answers being non responsive, they’re repetitive. We don’t have time to waste. We have one day with this witness," Engoron says.

Trump’s legal team is deliberately trying to inject the political implications of a trial that the former president claims is an example of persecution into the apolitical context of the courtroom.

Kise referred to Monday's “New York Times” that carries polls showing that the Republican front-runner is leading general election matchups in multiple swing states that will decide the 2024. In another intervention, he argued that Trump was the former and likely “soon to be” next chief executive of the United States.

But the approach taken by Kise and Trump’s extended answers are beginning to grate with the judge and have sparked heated sparring between the rival sets of lawyers.

Trump is worried about his money and sensible people are worried about his disqualification, because if he isn't, he could be the first US president in the big house, not the Whitehouse. Being broke, disqualified and convicted should help avoid such a future.

all you have to do is look at it, and you know it expensive.......wait what??

“$550M is a very low number,” Trump said of the property. “All you have to do is look at a picture of the building and say that’s worth a lot more money. You wanna put up a picture?”

this shit is just funny
