Some male some female? In my mind, you should just make everything for oil. Cause the flower pieces are going to be obsolete and collecting dust.

Is the bottom left dish a dish? Do you have any other pictures? It looks really cool :).


Also, do you remember that unique dome we talked about, the one you made without a joint? I could take that off your hands. PM if you still have it :D.

I like dedicated oil rigs, when mixing flowers, they tend to obstruct the flavor of oil. Of course, you can always use an adapter to make it the 'opposite sex' too and switch between the two. Or hell use two joints and a stopper for the male when using the female etc... :)

I do indeed have that "unique dome". :) Its been sitting on my desk for a while now. It still needs to be sanded so its actually ground, but that'll take a few minutes to do and I'll bring it by my friends lathe studio where he has the materials to do that tomorrow. The other dish you see is an Ionized Amber dish with a Double Amber Purple implosion, then slightly beveled to be a dish. It doesnt have any lip or side to it, its just naturally concave instead. Its about the same size as the blue/white dish of mine you already have.

Researchkitty OMFG you are inspirational, way to get down learning and growing to create with something you are passionate about! I was looking to upgrade my Zong for running errl. I just started making my own BHO errl and now it is all I want to smoke. I LOVE the style of your globe and dish bundles, and want to support your endeavors. However, I was not really thinking globe and nail, I was leaning more towards a hash bowl with the holes at the top and a hot wand for my dabs. Can you blow glass in this fashion? How long is the waiting list for me to get something you created? I am not requesting custom glass just wondering what is current demand in relation to your rate of production.

I'm rambling in my first post(crreated this account to contact you); let me start browsing the nearly 100 pages in this thread...
 
ZOMG wow, and you have a fawn Shar-pei, all time fav dog, I had 2 simultaneously in my childhood Rudy and Bud, they were the best. You breed it, because I'll take one or 2 of those too!

Ya, we love shar-peis. :) Not breeders, just lovers!!

I dont know much about hash bowls and hot wands, dank and fdd2blk can help you more on that as they've both actually made them before.. Right now my focus is on oil and the bubblers that go with them, which means dishes, domes, dabbers and whatnot. Might make a pendant or two but ms kitty usually scoops them up before I can do anything with them...... :)

Usually they are straight, since its just a size change, rather than an angular change........ If not let me know, I'll be making it tonight for tomorrows mail....
 
Yeah I just need it straight up, no angle changes or anything. I just need to make my 14mm a 18mm cause I got a new dome/nail I want to try. I bought it not realizing it was 18, and got it and said SHIT!
 
Once *my* titanium nails are ready, you use one nail for 14mm and 19mm. :) You change the cups and the center part individually for your size and preference. I havent touched the lathe in a month though, I gotta get some time. :)

Dude, my first coil wrap was about 1/8th that size and completely wonky. :) That is a very hard skill to master and make properly spaced coils with nice even walls. Good job dude!
