Trying to find a tall 2x4 tent to deliver to USA. Any suggestions?

I was planning to do my first grow in a 32 gallon trash can, but people on here keep telling me that it will be a waste of time and that I should just get a grow tent.

I would love to grow 2-3 plants of different strains each cycle, and get at least 2oz of each every time. So I'm thinking a 2x4 tent would be good enough. But, I live in California, and it seems like all the tents that are at least 6ft tall are sold out, or in a couple cases if they have them, they have gone up in price a lot.

I'm nervous putting tons of money into my first grow since I have no idea if I will be good enough at it to continue doing it after I attempt the first run. It's just for personal use, and I'm doing it to save money, and be able to get the specific strains I need for different medical uses. (and a bit for fun)

Does anyone know where I can get a 2x4 by at least 6ft tall tent that is good enough quality to not need replacing for a few years? It will need to be delivered to the USA relatively soon as my seeds just showed up and I'm hoping to get started within the next week if possible. Also I was hoping to keep the tent cost under $100, but it seems like the best I can hope for is $180 or less (including shipping).

I found some brands I've never heard of that may fit what I need, but am nervous to buy ones that have no reputation. FSGTEK is one of the brands I found.

Thanks for any help!

Buy a Gorilla, you have to spend more but you can use it for a grow or two and if you don't like growing you can sell it for a reasonable price. If you enjoy growing you are set for a long time. I'm in a 4 x 4 x 7 that I bought used that was used for one grow. I bought it and bunch of hydro equipment some new so use but I would have given at least $175 because it was taken apart already when I got there. If it was set up I would have paid $200, take care of whatever you buy and you can recoup quite a bit of what you spend specially in a legal weed state. Good luck!

They have extensions you can buy too. That's the next tent I'll buy.

Actually they come with a 1 foot extension, least looking at their website most do. Not sure on the shorty version. Good zippers that have held up to thousands of looks in on the girls by myself and I'm sure by the former owner. You get what you pay for with most grow equipment..

I was thinking about one of yours, but when I called the phone number on your website I got no answer. That made me very nervous about dealing with your company for support if there are any issues.
I called to check availability on at spreader bad for my 4 x 4 which helps keep the tent from sucking in on itself if you close it up tightly when using a filter. Call was answered and had a great conversation with them... Real people doing and supplying a great product. I'm sure many China based companies have borrowed or stole heavily from there tent designs which makes me sad after speaking with one their employees, again real people who are there to help if you need it. That goes along ways in my book.

Yep, I bought a cheap veg tent. And it has pinhole light leaks everywhere, and the zippers constantly catch on the plastic mylar like crap. So I find little pieces that look like little bits of foil around, lol.

Tent location?

Will you be able to manage temperature and humidity?

Chit adds up quick.
IMO anyone needs, minimum $500 to $1000. And then the babysitting begins. 3 or 4 months to endure before first harvest.

I assume I'll need to drop another $150 or so on an inline fan and carbon filter for the tent. I'm in Los Angeles. I am going to keep the tent in my living room so I can use the only air conditioner in the house if it gets too hot. I may buy a humidifier, but that looks like another $50 or so. I've heard of people managing humidity with a combo of the inline fan and a bucket of water if they need more humidity, but I'm not sure how well that will work.

Same here man. I prefer to buy American whenever I can. Quality or quantity, a choice you have to make.

I feel like I'm the only person who bought a gorilla tent and didn't like it. Unless you need a taller space, which I needed at the time, or if you need thick walls for whatever reason, go for it. Otherwise, imo, it's just a tent all the same

Even though I don't love the idea of dropping $100-$200 more for a gorilla tent than the other brands, even if I was ok with that, they are sold out of the 2x4 (non lite) version everywhere I've looked online. So I don't think that brand is currently an option.
Call and ask. I know I've seen them around on different sites, I'm sure they can tell you what is available and who has it. Or don't and be sad that you didn't spend the money later..

Any time I stand a new tent up (I have seven of them, five are currently in use), I can assume pretty reliably approximately ~$150 for the tent, ~$150 fan/filter and ~$150 HID lamp (pricing in CDN).

That's an average across two 4x4x7' tents (1kW and 600W HPS), and two 2x4x5' tents (both 400W MH).

Now, since I use only one exhaust fan/filter between a 4x4 and 2x4 tent using venting trickery, my exhaust cost is cut in half (so ~$75 per tent for exhaust).
