Trying to find a tall 2x4 tent to deliver to USA. Any suggestions?

I feel like I'm the only person who bought a gorilla tent and didn't like it. Unless you need a taller space, which I needed at the time, or if you need thick walls for whatever reason, go for it. Otherwise, imo, it's just a tent all the same
I have a cheapo my buddy threw me when he was moving. It was used once, I use it for storage or if I need a tent for seperation issues but wouldn't flower it it without covering it with a blanket or something else that would block all the light leaks. It was a $130 new.. Happy I got it for freeeee

Way taller than Yoda
Awesome man. I'm not really a Star Wars nerd. I just thought it was funny. I first tried to use Young Grasshopper, but that was taken, lol.

It was just a stupid way to say that I was beginning my training into learning to grow weed. Training to become a master. I'm no where close to being a master. If you notice my Avatar. My Yoda is HIGH. Too high he is to be a master, lol.

Didn't take much to find that. :eyesmoke:

And it only took me 1 second to see that the minimum order on that site is $300. So that doesn't really help. Also, I really don't want to spend that kind of money on just the tent. Besides, they say it's in stock, but on the FAQ it says that everything is shipped from the manufacturer. And since Gorilla themselves don't have any on their site, I doubt they have any to send for other companies.

I was thinking about one of yours, but when I called the phone number on your website I got no answer. That made me very nervous about dealing with your company for support if there are any issues.

if haven questions, directly send message, Mars Hydro- led grow light and grow tent manufacturer for 11 years in this market. you can trust us.

I am going to keep the tent in my living room so I can use the only air conditioner in the house if it gets too hot. I may buy a humidifier
Awesome! House air usually includes boosted Co2. Most exhaust out a window, not into the same room.
Had to ask. My "tent" is in my hot ass garage, and I too live in hot ass Cali. lol I'm shutdown for the summer.

Money is better spent, or saved for when you need a DE-humidifier.

Have fun with it.

I was planning to do my first grow in a 32 gallon trash can, but people on here keep telling me that it will be a waste of time and that I should just get a grow tent.

I would love to grow 2-3 plants of different strains each cycle, and get at least 2oz of each every time. So I'm thinking a 2x4 tent would be good enough. But, I live in California, and it seems like all the tents that are at least 6ft tall are sold out, or in a couple cases if they have them, they have gone up in price a lot.

I'm nervous putting tons of money into my first grow since I have no idea if I will be good enough at it to continue doing it after I attempt the first run. It's just for personal use, and I'm doing it to save money, and be able to get the specific strains I need for different medical uses. (and a bit for fun)

Does anyone know where I can get a 2x4 by at least 6ft tall tent that is good enough quality to not need replacing for a few years? It will need to be delivered to the USA relatively soon as my seeds just showed up and I'm hoping to get started within the next week if possible. Also I was hoping to keep the tent cost under $100, but it seems like the best I can hope for is $180 or less (including shipping).

I found some brands I've never heard of that may fit what I need, but am nervous to buy ones that have no reputation. FSGTEK is one of the brands I found.

Thanks for any help!
below are some feedback from the buyers.

Like your style. Growing is learning and learning is growing! I'm hooked hard and don't see it changing anytime soon. Watching a plant grow and react to its environment and to what it is fed is better than many books I've read. I'm Still deciding on what seeds and strains I want to drop my hard earned coin on, so for now I'm growing from seeds that were gifted to me. Currently I have a blackberry 3x cross I'm growing which I believe is gonna be similar to a couple of plants I grew over the winter. This grow I'm using a HLG 260 watt 3000k led for flower and with the weather (currently really warm) I'm excited to have a light which from what I've read here needs a pretty warm environment for the plants to thrive.

Interesting... Good to know.. I'm gonna keep looking and see if I can prove you wrong. :D

Awesome lights man. I have all HLG for my LED's. 2 260 Rspec's, a 135 Rspec. 2 260 3000k V1's that I haven't used. 2 135 5000k V1's, and 3 100's in 3000k. These lights kick ass. You will be impressed. I also have a couple CMH that I like to mix with the LED's when I can. I went a little crazy when the V1's were on sale, lol.

Thanks for the info. I already have a very small dehumidifier that may do the job if needed. Any other issues I should be prepared for that are SoCal specific?

Please do. I am leaning towards just getting the mars tent though. It will save me $100-$150 over the gorilla one and has very similar specs. But at least if anyone has the gorilla one is stock there is a chance I'll consider it. What I definitely won't do is wait an unknown amount of time to order one since every day I don't have my finished personal grown meds is another day I need to pay crazy prices and almost 40% tax on them here in Los Angeles.

You must have a basement! That is a serious array of lights. I thought I'd gone a little crazy.. Were the Rspec kit versions? Why haven't you used those yet? I won't mention all that I have bought but I will say the I only have one bulb style light and it's a 315 CMH in a 3100k that is dimmable. Not sure why its dimmable quite yet but it is. It worked nicely with a couple of led lights, spread wasn't idea for a 4 x 4 but it still worked pretty, pretty good I think... Super excited to hang a pair of the HLG's in the tent when I have a full house but with only one plant going I think one is gonna be more than enough. I'm trying my hand at pretty aggressive training this time around and might install a scrog if the canopy looks to be unable to support its flowers. It's in a 5 gallon kangaroo pouch bag I got years ago when delivering freight. Just switched it back to veg but leaving it under the 3000k till I go to 12/12. Before it was under a cooler 2 foot 4 bulb T5 replacement LED light and it grew larger than the light with a little training. Also I got to ask since I'm rambling but it took only one long night followed by like 8 hours under the HLG to show me it's sex! Is that normal? I'm not complaining but I was hella surprised by it. Love the HLG products, the kits, the prefab, the service and the support here from other growers who use and believe in their products as well as HLG folks I have spoken with. My only complaint I have is that so many companies have stolen their tech and profited off of it.. I bought a couple of SF 1000's without having done much research and feel bad now that I basically bought someone else's stolen tech and ideas.

No different then building your own though...

You can definitely build a light thats as good or better. It's all about if you are willing to go through the headaches of ordering all the parts, putting them together. Nothing wrong with saving a few bucks and building a light thats tailored to your needs and then also know how to fix it or upgrade it later. I can also understand someone not wanting to dick with all that, ordering stuff to have it arrive, during the build find that a driver is bad or a LED strip is bad. Have to mess with getting that remedied on top of everything else. So I see both sides of the equation. One thing I will say that if you want to DIY a light it is wise to order your parts from someone that will take care of you after the sale. If you start ordering one part here and another part there from sketchy suppliers then you are asking for trouble, probably be a newer version of your diodes before you get it running lol.
