theres so much to learn and buy to get a good final product. ive been at it for 10yrs now and i still dont have it all down but from experience id say youll need some of the following. 1)Lighting system: 400w-1000w MH/HPS 2)Exhuast System: 8"inline duct fan and flex duct w/ carbon filter 3)Nutes (these are what i use): Fox Farm: Grow Big, BigBloom, Tiger Bloom, Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, Cha Ching. Advanced Nutrients: Rhino Skin, Bud Candy, Wet Betty, Final Phase. Dyna Gro: Neem Oil (For Pests). General Hydroponics: PH UP & Down. Olivias Cloning Solution. Rootech Cloning Gel.1" Rockwool cubes for cloning and a humidity dome for growing your clones. Humbloldt Nutrients: White Widow. 4) Misc Items: Ph tester liquid or digital, Mositure Meter, Soil Ph Tester, Good Cutting Sissors, Plant Yo Yos, Roll of Mylar, 3gal pots if your growing in soil, Mist bottles 5)Soil: Either FoxFarm Ocean Forest or Roots Organic. There also alot of other things to buy and consider but these are just a few of the things Ive accuried over the years and def. get your self a growing book preferable the Marijuana growers course hand book for the Oakstradam University by Ed Rothsdel

I suggest getting to a large book store (Borders, Barns&Noble, etc) and just sit and read a bit (you don't need to buy the book)... there are a lot of books on growing. Then you will have enough info to start asking more specific questions here on the forum.

We are on the biggest and best forum on the net and you suggest this guy drive to a book store and sit amongst a bunch of people reading a book about growing weed? You fail.

I have yet to pick up a single book on MJ or horticulture because of this site and my grow is going great.

To the OP, start reading man!!!

thx bigv :) books have info organized, you can just read and get the basics more quickly then jumping through 100's of threads and weeding through the BS. Don't get me wrong... I think forums are the best thing ever, but to start a book is quicker.
