Trying to grow Organic

How did that Double Dipped Strawberry come out?
I am glad you asked. Three sets of twins were grown, same seed varieties and breeder, two DDS, two Brain Fog and two Bigfoot Glue. Same soil, grow environment and feeding/watering. The result was one very good plant from each set, with the other one being mediocre.

The Double Dipped Strawberry plant that was very good (better than I get at private collective) smelled like strawberries, very frosty and was as potent as any flowers that I have grown. It's a pheno that should have been cloned. I'm not set up for cloning. I am growing more right now.

All three of these twin sets produced one very good plant and one mediocre. The Brain Fog produced one plant with a wonderful menthol smell and very potent. The second larger plant is probably going in the worm bin, two jars of big flowers. WTF?

Phenotype hunting after curing and smoking, somehow keep part of the plant alive for reveg after harvesting the flowers, and then clone?

Is that even possible?

Easiest thing to do is just to clone (and label) everything you grow. There is more of a guarantee that you will end up with a successful/healthy clone if you do it during veg than if you wait to reveg the plant, which is kind of a waste of time and space. Once you dry/cure/smoke you can decide whether to keep the associated clone, then keep it or compost it.

I love your thread.

The room is thoughtful, clean and inspiring.

Thanks,

I built the shed to keep my granddaughters from seeing and my client's from smelling, as both come to my house. Also built before I started growing, I dream of redoing a shed, flower room, veg room, sealed entry area, inside garage, RO water system connected to inside, blah blah, damn expansive to do nowadays.

I am in the beginning stages of building a grow-room myself.
I hope it looks as clean and thought out as yours.
There are so many factors.
I think you are in an arid region where it's hot and then cold uniformly. That makes your AC choice worthy in my opinion.

The AC was a requirement and as it turns out so was a dehumidifier. The dehumidifier keeps the nighttime temperature in the 70's.

And I am able to recapture about half the water that I put in the room.
