:wall:I was wondering should I use RO water or distilled water or the free rain water (120'' a year) for DWC I live in a area of Hawaii where we don't have tap water and the county:hump: water is loaded with Chlorine and fluoride.

Rain water is doing Great for soil plants 2'' growth a day under T5 lighting but I will be doing a DWC in a greenhouse just dont want to have the hassel of hauling storing water:cry: any thoughts:confused::confused::confused:

If you can get some Vietnamese Black,
It will live for years in HI.

I lived on Oahu.

My neighbor had a black plant,
that I walked by for 2 years
before I realized what it was.

It looked like a black post in his garden,
like something you would put a rain gauge on.

I finally discovered it wasn't a post,
when I picked up my frisbee
after it landed at the base of the plant.

My jaw dropped, and I thought I was hallucinating.(again)
Hey, we did a lot of Oahu north shore mushrooms back then.

It was amazingingly black,
and solid bud,
with huge calyx's all over the "post"

It was at least three years old,
and stood four foot high.

The plant was in the corner of a beautiful vegetable garden,
and young NAVY pot heads like me walked by it everyday,
without a clue.

Texada Time warp would also be a good choice
for sculpting "Black Plants".

Good luck,
Show your Grow.

Wow thanks for that info you got my mouth watering just thinking about it. I currently got "Big Bud" strain going now and I must say am happy with the results so far. all in soil but just starter 2 clones in DWC they were in soil for ten days to start just rinsed the roots real good took care to thread the 6" + rooted through the 3" net pots with no damage. They never even drooped like when transplanting does but the growth has been very little up top but roots yeah baby so I am looking for the growth to take off soon 1 week on tues then change nuts with and chart the progress with the t that are in soil same age clone but are a bit bigger I account it to shock even the plane looked like no shock at all. Well i am rambling so I guess its time to put the bong down and enjoy... Again thanks for the tips...
Aloha~

I am having a real hard time with germinating. I have tryed everything. More heat less heat, more air less air, more water less water, in zip lock bag with zipper open. Out of 100's of seeds only about 20 grew. I have some of the seeds (10) that broke and grew were all Low Ryder2. They are growing very fast. The ones that arent germing are 50% fresh bag (very good shit) seed and the other are White Widow and Super S Haze. I have new seeds that are soaking in some purified water now waiting to see if that works better. The only thing that I can think of that it is the well water I am using, maybe it has something bad in it. Can the Great Earl comment on this please. Thanks
