U.K outdoor grow - Lowlife AK47 - Weird buds!?

Hi all

Thought i'd give growing some lowryders this summer. Basically my auto ak47 has been going for about 3.5 months now.

It's been budding for ages (at least 8 weeks,which is long for an auto strain?) but the buds don't seem to be filling out and all that is happening is loads of new pistles are forming. The colars themselves are pretty hefty but don't have any density.

I definitely don't think it's ready to harvest yet as the pistles are still white/purple(?) and there's hardly any THC on the leaves.

There's a picture attached (i think!), can anyone shed any light ? I'm going to leave it anyway and see what happens, should get some decent oil regardless!

All of those pistles started off purple by the way too.

Ended up having the dump the above plant, not sure what went wrong. No THC, no buds, just loads of pistils. No way smokable.

Anyway onto this years auto batch. This is candy kush by autoseeds, this is around 5 weeks into flowering.

Loads of THC on the buds, but they are very leafy. it looks like I'm having this pistle problem again? New pistles sprouting from parts of he bud instead of them swelling up and ripening?

Maybe it will fill out a bit in the next 2 weeks but all of the pistles are still white and I looks like its sprouting more daily. Any advice??

I've started to flush anyway and this should get decent yield for an outdoor auto. Shame the buds won't be as per normal though.
