How about some old mylar birthday balloons to line the sides?
If I hadn't seen that shape before, I would say your light looks like a hair brush handle.:shock:

What a weird shape for a hairbrush handle...no, I assure you, it's a kickass 7w lightbulb. Low in the cup? I'm using the white sides of the cup to reflect the light on to my baby!
