Unclebuck's winter wonderland

i'll post some pics tonight if i can find my camera. just got everything harvested out, cleaned up a bit (including the plants), and everything looks great. almost 100 plants in that garage and not a single yellow leaf along with nice, even canopies :bigjoint:

moms on the bottom, what will soon be a supercropped sea of green on the top, and some young ladies in the mirror.

Love the mom chamber. I need to build one something like that.

very simple to do, actually.

i used the same forstner bit to drill holes to hang the lights that i used to drill holes for the euro hinges. i forget the exact size, but it is perfect for mounting a row of lights.

i have no idea where this treadmill reference comes from.

that said, my last crop pollinated itself pretty badly. normally, i get 2-3 seeds from one plant that self pollinated, but i got 100-200 seeds this time among multiple plants. i must have stressed one or more of the poor gals and i bet i have some cross pollination this time.

only question is...what to do with all these seeds? i bet there's at least one great pheno in those seeds.*

That sucks, sorry to hear that. I hope it not hereditary in the strain, and carry over to those seeds :)

Give some to shaggy, he will turn all of them into dank dank.

I would make a few small tents and grow them out seperately. At least keep them away from the main grow.

May I ask why indoor grows bore you? You said that like on page 2 or 3.

it's just so boring. transplant them into their final home, water them in, and turn on the lights. water them a little later. some nutes maybe.*

the rest is just sitting around.

i think i'll let mother nature do the work for me.

plant a row of the 100 seeds in mid summer, cut them back to a dozen or two once they're a foot tall or so, clone those indoors. then wait for mother nature to show me which ones are female and which ones flower best. save those clones for future indoor use and pick up a few extra ounces of outdoor bud.

i've planted those hermie seeds before and they never come out good, but they are all selfed. some of these are bound to be cross pollinated. not sure if that will make them any better, but why not try.

UB I really like the rooms you have set up, if you don't mind me asking how much do you pull with that flower room running 800 watts? I realize it is somewhat perpetual so how about a 6 month guestimate. I like the Idea of planting the all the seeds, I bet there will be some good phenos in there, although I have noticed that the offspring of self pollinated girls are somewhat retarded in growth, production, and just about every other aspect. Also, did you build your greenhouse?

i have two 800 watt rooms, the other one is a bit taller.

on a decent run, i'll get a little over a pound. on a bad run, it can be about 12-14 ounces.

the greenhouse is still up, i just need to redo the plastic.

Ive grown from a cross pollinated seed. Hermies pollinating Hermies, was what I was told. Shit they turned out to be some of my dankest grows. Only knew what half the cross was though, that was the only problem I had. Had to guess from like 5 other strains as to what did the pollination.

How is outside different?

they get about a million times bigger, constantly need to be tended to with staking and support, doing a few "vendange vert" trims, weekly treatments for mites and moths, and 24/7 security. plus, it's outside in the great sunshine during the best part of the year, amid my large garden, and i get to watch the chickens and ducks play around.

way more fun than working in my ugly garage.
