yeah, i'm having that problem too. i even lost track of a whole bunch of them during the trim so i have no idea what it's from as well as who it might have been pollinated by.

doesn't matter, i'll just call it snickelfritz.

Would be nice to be able to grow outside. But my meter is in the back. Even growing in my florida room would risk my plant being nabbed by the meter maid (?).

I will be gardening veggies outside this summer tho. Tomatos, mint, jalepenos, sweet peas and whatever else strikes my fancy.

i already planted some sweet peas. improved edible pod super sugar snap pole peas. they almost taste like candy, but even better.

Last year I started some sweet peas and tomatoes in the florida room.

Tomatoes I kept inside too long. For the life of me, I could not pregnate them bitches. Flicked their flowers, blew on them, shook them, and no pollination. Put them outside and within a week they started making fruit. But there wasn't enough time left in the season.

The snow peas were doing great, had them going up and around a tomato cage. Well, my cats liked to run out into the florida room every chance they got. One night I was too tired to chase them out from under the end tables and couch. So they got left out there. HA! That will teach em.

Next morning I went into the florida room to see my retard cat had eaten a bunch of twine and thrown it back up on my couch. The fluffy kitten decided to take a piss and shit in the snow pea pot. They didn't fuck with the Northern Light plant or Tomato Plant, but the kitty snapped the stems of all the snow peas.

I thought they would die so I put them outside (it stunk) and was gonna clean it up later. A few days later, the leaves were still green on the plant. So I decided to wait and see what happened. Amazingly, the plant still made a ton of pods! (I didn't eat any of them, but I was impressed)

i was just in florida and they had tomato plants at the farmers market. how in the hell do you miss a season?

My mom kept telling me to put them outside to be polinated by bugs. And I didn't listen.

The plant was too tall and most of the branches with flowers/tomato starting broke from weight. The smaller bottom branches didn't produce a tomato before the first snow.

Last summer was the first time I've grown anything.

i tried the dip and grow on this last run. did two batches: one with dip and grow, one with the powder.

the dip and grows have rooted ahead of the powder clones, but a third of the dip and grow clones just fell over. no rot on the stem that i can see, either. kinda odd. none of the powder clones fell over yet.

and no fat stem on the dip and grow clones.

a few days ago i got back from an 8 day, 7 night trip to my buddy's wedding. my wife was in charge of things at the beginning and end, my neighbor took over when she flew in for the wedding for a couple days.

well, the neighbor took 6 old moms i had sitting in the corner to be thrown away and moved them in front of the veg layers to get some light. he moved a fan in the process that was there since my PC fans took a shit on me and i didn't have time to fix them before going.

he also changed the oscillating fan that blew on two layers to still, so that it only blew on one layer.

the damage: mites and rust. new clones weren't getting any air blown on them at all and got some mites and a lot of rust.

easily enough treated, i neemed them well and pruned them back. gonna do a second neeming tomorrow. i haven't neemed for months thanks to colder winter temps, and almost forgot how nice and shiny and beautiful they look after a good application.

the best news is that the super-overripe plants i had to leave behind did not mold while i was away. although they were so purple when i trimmed that i kept thinking it was mold.

might put up some pics of the harvest which is hanging to dry.

i tested a run of clones using both dip 'n gro AND cloning powder on every clone. what a miserable failure and a waste of $20.

anyhoo, flaming pie wants to see my female parts (whore). so here they are, close to ready. this is the last batch that went into flower without being treated for mites, but the damage is not super horrible.

this flower layer just got done last night. i put 10 nasty old mothers in there, and within 24 hours they went from looking malnourished and unhappy to being on a happy road to recovery. i think they got pissed at me for leaving them in N1 containers for 5 months.



these gals just went into flower last night too, but these clones only got vegged for a month or so.



and these gals are two- three weeks along in flower.

glad i stopped by to check this thread, i had no idea when i put my current batch into flower and they seem about ready to harvest. gonna give some of them another few days, will be harvesting the rest tomorrow.
