Bummer, thought I'd miss something substantive of import to this thread. Was out on a call, 2 hour minimum, double time. Thank you organized labor. Why? Because I perform a service consumers need. And they pay what the market will bear. Same as a pro golfer on the circuit or a kiosk in the mall hawking nickel pencils. Consumers want a product and pay market rate.
Union labor views, more polite than my own.
"Our labor unions are not narrow, self-seeking groups. They have raised wages, shortened hours, and provided supplemental benefits. Through collective bargaining and grievance procedures, they have brought justice and democracy to the shop floor."
-- John F. Kennedy
"If any man tells you he loves America, yet hates labor, he is a liar. If any man tells you he trusts America, yet fears labor, he is a fool."
-- Abraham Lincoln

We want more schoolhouses and less jails; more books and less arsenals; more learning and less vice; more leisure and less greed; more justice and less revenge; in fact, more of the opportunities to cultivate our better natures, to make manhood more noble, womanhood more beautiful, and childhood more happy and bright."

As politely as I can, once more. You want to dis unions, here on a cannabis cultivation site, in America, today? Bite me. Skilled craftsmen and women laboring with negotiated contracts still have work and support a family with one income. They have health, dental and vision insurance, legal insurance, retirement benefits, grievance procedures, defined hours of work, holiday and vacations, working conditions. This parts' easy, try and keep up pothead, unionized workers workers have it better in the workforce than non-union workers. So bite me, no really, fucking bite me. Like an abortion, peace out.
