um not to rain on your parade or anything. but all ghee is, is clarified butter. which makes the topic of your post very misleading. GHEE IS BUTTER, it has just been clarified. you clarify normal butter and it'll become the same shit. waste of money IMO...

"How to make Ghee At Home?

Ingredients:
Pure unsalted Butter (not margarine)

Procedure:

Heat butter in a saucepan in high-medium heat until it boils or bubbles.
Reduce heat to medium-low and cook uncovered until butter turns to a clear golden color. (Butter usually begins to boils with lots of bubbles. When it is done, it will have foams on top of it indicating that ghee is nearly done.)
Cool it and store it in dry container. Use ghee in you regular cooking.

yes, you do want to skim that off. i use a ladle for that. just keep it as level as you can with the top of the liquid and gently push down until the ladle goes slightly under the liquid and the surface tension pulls the milk solids inside the ladle. ghee is just butter with no milk solids or water.

ok m8 u win ur the best please teach me bye........

ive never said ghee is not butter or its hard to make just alot easier to buy and it has a higher fat content meaning your butter/ghee/clarified butter will be stronger than if you use regular butter.
it's not about winning or losing, not trying to battle you. just trying to get the facts across. but you are essentially right, clarified butter will work better than non clarified butter because of it's higher fat content. i am just trying to show people that Ghee is not some secret special magical product, and that you can make it very easily from regular non-salted butter. I've been working as a line cook for the past ten years so I am just trying to give some factual info from what I know about butter and how it works.
