use old soil?

i had a few seedlings that died and wanted to know if i can put new seedlings back in the soil,party cups, ffof soil.thanks

Might want to try a seedling soil to start them. I don't use foxfarm. Isn't the ffof loaded with stuff.

Yea man ffof is to hot for baby's just proved it to myself put clones in strait ffof they all got some burn.Mix it with some regular good potting mix.About 4 or 5 bucks a bag.Never had trouble doing that way.Peace

oh yeah, FF is soooooo bad.


sprouts go straight into it. i have NEVER had a problem.

my sprouts go into fox farms ocean forest and i have NEVER had a problem with it.

stop over watering and you will be fine.

I wouldn't use old soil for seedling but I would when they r older. Jus make sure its flushed good. And since. Its been used, there's not much nutes left in it so ull need to feed more often

yes, you can reuse your soil. i'd dump it all out and mix it around to loosen it back up, then go for it.

be careful not to over water. when they are small they really don't need much more than a light misting. drier soil actually promotes root growth.

That's not what I said. I said I wouldn't use old dirt for seedlings but will use it in later stages of life and then it would require more feedsings as nutes from soild have been washed and used

seedling was started in a rapid rooter plug. i put it in this cup of fox farms ocean forest when it sprouted. it spent 7 weeks in this cup before it was transplanted into a 1 gallon pot of fox farms ocean forest. 2 more weeks in there before i ever fed it anything.

it isnt smart to leave a seedling in a small cup for that long. you are definately stunting its growth. healthy vegetative growth is a key to a heavy harvest.
