well if you really want to buy into the whole "red is better than blue" for flowering, you might as well go the whole hog, get a digital ballast which has a switch function, get ur 400wMH for vegging then have a 650wHPS bulb for when you flower, however I suggest doing more reading on light spectrums and flowering, theres some interesting literature on light spectrum, and i am currently flowering under a 400wMH so i will post my findings once i have finished flowering in a month or so.

You're ordering form Greners? Have you price shopped on eBay? I dunno, I find great deals on eBay, and have had great luck with them so far. Amazon sometimes too. Also, lots of free shipping on eBay and Amazon...Juss sayin'

Yeah but I'm actually boycotting eBay (same price anyways and no free shipping either, far from it...98$ shipping just for the tent ), and Amazon has great prices, but the sellers don't deliver to Canada
At least with the bigger tent, I'll be able to fit the A/C in the tent and say bye bye to those horrid high temps I'm having, and A/C problems hehe
There's also the issue that my space is Exactly 24" deep, and the Secret Jardin is pretty much the only one who is truly 24"x24".
To top it off the Secret Jardin DR120W (47.25"x23.5"x5.3') is discontinued, so theres only a handful of companies that sell em.

And about the 600w, I think it would be a bit overkill seeing as I am currently having temperature issues and the A/C would also take up a bunch of space.

P.S: what length of cool tube should I take for the 2x4 tent? 27" I'm guessing?

I don't understand what you are asking? What are you trying to do? What hydroponic system are you going with? Sorry, but what you are asking is very vague. If I were you I would search Craigs list first for the lights, I bet you will find them locally on Craigs list for cheap. As far as the tent, they are all pretty much the same and buying a certain brand will not do you anything but bragging rights.

I'm not going hydro, I'm just asking for things that makes your life easier in the garden...these things might not be a necessity to have but they can be very practical. You might also refer to those things as gadgets...
And about the tent, I mentioned I am going with this certain brand, because of the actual dimensions of the tent. I have a space of 2x4' hence I need a 2x4' tent. Most 2x4' tents are actually 3x4's or 2.5x4' and stuff like that. Secret Jardin are the only ones who sell a 2x4' that measures 2x4'...
