Using an apple for a pipe?????

Okay, I have been smoking since 1966 and I have smoked the herb from alot of different homemade devices. but yesterday my two nephew's had my jaw dropping. We had gone outside to have a smoke when one of them handed me an apple. What the hell! They were laughing so hard at me. seems like the world has passed me by. they hd hallowed out the top about half way down, then bore a hole sideways to meet it, stuffed the weed in the top and hit it up. What???? takeing hits off an APPLE!!
well it wasn't harsh, I must say it was alittle sweet also. then those two fools ate the thing!!Anyone ever hear of this????

the first thing i smoked out of back when i was only 11 years old was a fucking plastic bottle with a pen stabbed through it for a mouth piece and the bowl was foil on the top where you drink from

LOL! yea, toilet paper rolls, shit those were the days. the ice in the coffee cup, tin foil on top, using pin holes as a bowl. but this was the best, those kids(23 yrs) had me going.

apple pipes are the easiest to make .... u need a pen/cil and an apple

apple pipes rock u can just throw away or eat and there available at most gas stations.

yeah dude, for a while i didn't have a pipe, and when i wanted to smoke, i'd take a walk, find an apple (there are several trees in our neighborhood), and fix it up with a stick. they make good pipes, but it's a one time deal, and when you start to smoke every day, it's not completely worth it.

once when i was in the navy in sandiego we carved a pipe in the soft rock at ocean beach it was like super hardpacked sand, we also used to turn the standerd navy pens worked great in turning into a pipe.... peace all

yeah, apples work very well.

Hell yes I love smoking from a good apple.

I used to do this alot. But about a year ago we got busted when we were smoking out of a apple, so I never use one anymore. Now its mostly bongs and pipes for me
