UV, IR, How much, for how long?

Is it needed?....I am not saying it is Not.....and someone will tell me what a fuktard I am, but as many papers with Actual data being recorded as I come across, just as many point to variable in simple things like soil mix.

Does uv/uvb increase terp profiles to begin with. I have used light sources w/UVB and and without UVB.... and in the absence of recorded Data, it would be impossible to guess and might even lean towards a more satisfying smoke without UVB [ the led's always get compliments] or is it merely strain dependent?

Food for thought I guess. Someone will disagree and thats fine.
Well it's a DAMNED GOOD THING @Growmau5 will be doing a side by side with the 2 hottest debated factors, UVB & Far Red in a Side-by-Side, with & without here very shortly. I think its gonna help us put it all to rest finally.

So you're supposed to use it even in veg too? I thought it was a BLOOM Booster. Girls don't need that much phosphorus in veg do they?

@Growmau5 Watched your latest vid, its going to be interesting watching the whole series. That Mammoth P looks good, expensive I don't mind, shame I can only get it from the USA so even more expensive for me. Still I may try a batch or even hit them up for a sample once ive seen your series run to completion. Also that guy from chilledgrowlights... wtf how awesome are his set ups!! Seems like a quality guy.

@Airwalker16 hittem up for a free 60ml sample, lots of people on IG getting freebies. At 1ml per gal , it goes farther than a morman on prom night.
I don't suppose it mentions on the bottle what bacteria/microbes it contains by any chance. I have made a batch of Lactobacillus serum recently and if I add it to organic nutrients the night before I feed my girls, they seem to appreciate it. Might be a placebo effect on my part. I do not think the results are on par with yours and Mammoth P though. Would love to try it but it is pricey and I would have to add shipping and import duty to the U.K.

Cheers,
Will

So, the UV COBs are on the website with a "coming soon" tag on it. It looks like we have a choice of 2 different ranges, 375+/- 5nm, and 395+/-5nm. With these, good glasses will be a must. Anyone need 360 watts of UV?:o These should put any reptile bulb to shame. I will be talking to @Alex Lau on Monday to see if they have one yet in Fremont. If so I will try to get one to test on one of my 3 girls to see if there is any improvement in frost. By the way I am talking about Flip Chip Opto.

I know that when I was running super cheap blurple lights, they seemed to put out a frostier bud that was perhaps of a higher quality, although much less quantity. The blurples were said to have UV and IR.
Since my conversion to all COB, my buds don't really seem to stink like they should. Maybe I'm just too baked, one of my buddies said that my house " smells like dank". So, there's that...
