Hey guys and girls I have a 2 × 2 ×5 grow tent running dwc. Also mars 2 400 watt my question is how long should I veg before flipping to flower? Don't want to out grow my space. By the way it's one plant.

A full grown taller indica dominant can range from 30"-45". A sativa can add 10-20" more. My last grow I flipped the light when they reach 10" tall. 28days from seed. Two white widow plants. The tallest plant ended up being in 60" range. The other was 45".
Getting the plant to stay short isn't reliable. Prepare now to tie it down. LST will work. Make her stay low to fit the space. Maintaining a good distance to the light.

That's it right now so about his much longer I have already been lst it and supercropped far right and far left leaves cuz they were getting taller than the rest

Can you manipulate the temperatures? Read some on Positive vs Negative temperature DIFFerence. I have had great success keeping stretch of various plants by increasing the night temp five degrees above the day high temp. first two weeks of flower is the "stretch, so focus on

Growing inside my bedroom so manipulating will be a lil difficult thinking about vegging for another week or two than flipping to flower don't want it to have too much consequence on yield though
you should be fine man, Like SouthCross said just start tying down, LST is always the best bet in low headspace areas, start it early on next time, heres some shots of a couple of my "coiled" plants, i use LST starting from the time their on the 5th node and tie them around the pot to make them coil up, i continue to do this throughout the stretch, by the time im done is basically a Scrog plant without the screen, just a bunch of silicon tiedowns xD and these are in a 2x4x5 tent

super cropping works well too, just gotta be careful, i usually only do it on accident xD
infact that sour d plant on the right has the main cola supercropped down on it... was.. not.. intentional xD

What is that setup called bro?
i mean its not liek a setup you can buy all together just different things i ordered.
the tent is a DP60 by secret jardin
the light on the left is a ACKE 24w full spectrum LED
the light on the right is a ACKE 12w full spectrum LED (used lower wattage one over the humidty chamber side just for caution)
The humidity chamber was something i picked up at a local nursery
i used a dryer vent for the intake duct and a computer fan wired to a wall adapter for the exhaust fan, then cut some 4" ducting to make a shroud over the top of the fan just to keep the light from escaping through it since my bed is to the right of the tent and i dont like staring at LED directly when trying to sleep lol
i just recently put this setup together so im still waiting to see how well of a veg i can get under these low wattage lights, at some points i may upgrade to a 45w or 60w light in there if needed, but clones dont need much light anyway and i didnt wanna overpower it since these plants are only like 18" away, the tent measues 24"Wx18"Dx24"H so not much headroom, The DP90 has a bit more room but also has a slightly bigger footprint that wouldn't have fit on my dresser lol

i havent started seeds in it yet but theres no reason it shoudlnt, ive had the same white widow and sour d strains going for like 8 months now and have great success with them so i just keep cloning it lol

What kind of setup you running and what does the yield look like per plant. I have a dwc system 3.5 gallon. With ph perfect nutes .
Ive gone through so many different systems, right now im using a modular ebb n gro system that ive converted to drip to waste, 6x 2gal pots in a 4x2x5 tent, using a blend of course & fine coco coir with coco crutons and perlite for medium, my yields vary, mostly because i do ALOT of experimenting, so its hard to say really.. ive flipped plants into flower with less than 3 weeks of veg and pulled 3+oz off them though xD
oh and im under 450w LED, bumped to 600w with my bloom boost lamp on but that thing heats up quite a bit, think ima trade it out for another Platinum p150 which is what i already use 3 of.
