Veg time

What is the longest you have kept a plant in veg state?

I have a plant that has been in Veg for 12 weeks and probably not gonna get to flower for another 5 or 6 weeks.

Should i wait or just start the flowering process now?

How big of a pot do you have it in? or what is it in?

The idea of veg is to grow the plant to the perfect size to where when you flip the lights and it stretches it fills the footprint of your light perfectly. No waste. There are people who say they've kept the same mother plant for 10+ years. It is possible to keep a plant in alive indefinitely. Even after you flower it, if it hasn't been pollenated, you can switch it back to 18/6, or whatever you're into, and re-veg it. Marijuana is a annual, meaning that it dies back after pollination. If it never gets pollenated it will grow like a perennial.

But 12 week veg is a long time indoors. I usually do 6 weeks. The main idea there is that the more you yield off of a shorter veg, the cheaper it was to produce it.

Ok.. so you've cut clones off of it. lol. I was picturing a grow room looking like a jungle made of one plant. I'd flower it for sure. I wouldn't have lollipopped it, and I've been over the reason a million times. Long story short, I think it's wasteful. But other than that it looks healthy.

what size tent is that/are you flowering it in the tent?

That is my veg tent...it is 48 x 32 x 60

I have a flower tent that is 48 x 48 x 80

I lollipopped it because the plants in flower now have little light getting to those branches. And barely and buds forming on them.

All 3 of my plant have come from random seeds i have saved in my many years of smoking...so i dont know any of the strains.

I’ve had mothers in my clone room for over a year. In soil I generally veg 2 months hydro one month.
